This was our first time visiting Caramulo, and BeeCaramulo was a perfect base for exploring. It's right in the heart of the town, so you can walk to the museum, parks, and restaurants. We parked on arrival and didn't use the car again until we left. The hotel is lovely and very comfortable, including a really comfy bed and a huge bathroom with a good shower. We got one of the top floor rooms, which each have a small balcony and hot tub. It was a bit too rainy to use the hot tub this time, but maybe next time. Breakfast was really good, and included delicious little chunks of honeycomb (the hotel name isn't random -- the family that runs the hotel are beekeepers and make honey and other honey-derived products). It really was good. We bought a jar to take home with us. Good experience all-around. We definitely will visit Caramulo again and will stay at Bee Caramulo.

This place is amazing. It’s totally worth a detour to experience staying in a house with such incredible history and hospitality. The host has set up facilities to help cyclists and takes an interest in giving advice on where to go. Absolutely recommend.

    The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable. We could enjoy the pool in the morning and even prepare breakfast in the mini kitchen of our studio. The region is beautiful and calm, and staff very friendly. We recommend!

    Easy to find in a small town. My room had a view of the church, and Sunday morning heard the bells and singing. The owner showed me local points of interest. The gated and covered parking has an EV charging outlet. There also is a pool table.
