Hotels with Pools in Capelas

It's a nice hotel with a good location, as you can reach all the sites very quickly. We have decided for this hotel, as in this time of the year (stayed December, over Christmas) the weather is not always good. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and a sauna. We used them every day. The gym is also well equipped. We stayed in an appartment and did not use the restaurant facilities. The room view was towards the outdoor pool, but right and left, we had nice views towards mountains and the ocean. Generally, it was a wet side, so we couldn't get the swimming suites dry on the balcony.

Exceptional cleanliness, very friendly personal, comfortable big rooms, great view for city and ocean. Thank you!

The plunge pool in the green house was lovely as was the garden and rooms with an outdoor place to sit.

Everything about this place made us very happy: - the staff, always trying to make it work for us - the room was big, very clean, with good air conditioning (for heat) - the gardens very peaceful and well maintained - the pineapple tour just for us with a lovely host - the food, both breakfast (with fresh fruits, local cheese, ham and breads) and the dinner - you have to reserve it

It was just great. Very beautiful and comfy room with the sea view. We also got a free upgrade of the room because of our honeymoon. Amazing breakfast, all the staff was very nice and helpful too. If we will be back on the island we would definitely come back to this hotel.

Breakfast was good. Room very clean.

It was the most beautiful little house we have ever been to. I hope to return one day!

It’s an old property with history, from 1888. It’s a part of Rural Accomodation Association, so you get real experience. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful people, whatever you need they will try their best. House was great! If you like original furntiture and design, this is the place. But it’s still modern - you have fridge, microwave, washing machine, kettle etc. and warm water in the shower doesn’t end. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is in a beautiful pool area with everything you need for breakfast - stuff for sandwiches, local cheese and butter, bacon, cereal and fresh pressed juice. Pool area has a lot of beach chairs and there’s huge bathroom with showers to take a bath after swim (and also there are outside showers). There’s also a terrace from which you can see even better the ocean. On the property there’s also a vineyard and you can taste the wine if you are at a good time. It’s also nicely located to explore whole island and there was no problem to park outside the house.

Great facilities Very spacious Very attentive house

Great space for a family. It can be a base for touring the island but also you can spend a day very splendidly just at the house. The location is perfect starting point for any trip and there are beautiful evening in S. Vicente Ferreira.

We had a wonderful week in the Azores and at Casa do Mar. The hosts were incredibly friendly and always helpful. The house is in a perfect location—just a two-minute walk from the Atlantic, where you can enjoy beautiful walks during the day or in the evening. The pool was a fantastic extra, great for swimming a few relaxing laps. Everything was very clean, and the house had everything we needed for a longer stay on the island. We can fully recommend this accommodation and would happily return anytime. Thank you again for everything! Best Henry

It is an excellent place. They are super sweet always available if needed, with a lot of attention to detail, and you will have everything you need and even more. Also a excellent location, especially if you have a car and want to reach different parts of the island. Definitely recommended.

Exactly like the descrpition and photo's. Large appartement, wonderful garden, lovely swimming pool. Smooth and good communication with owner.

The room, the breath taking view, the stunning location and caring staff

We stayed in a bungalow in front of the swimming pool. Bungalow was comfortable with a kitchen full of amenities and it offered a great view to the swimming pool and the ocean. The personnel was friendly and help us with many questions we had. It is a short 20 minute drive from Ponta Delgada but it is strategically placed. We strongly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Guiomar. The house is beautiful and functional, with an absolutely stunning view. Everything is very well designed, with great attention to detail, and the house includes all possible comforts. The heated pool was also a fantastic plus. Breakfast was amazing, and the people taking care of it were incredibly kind and welcoming. Everything went perfectly during our stay — highly recommended!
