A family run Guesthouse, the attention to detail and the welcoming attitude made the stay exceptional. The mother cooked our excellent supper one night. The location was near Pinhao and other Douro sights.

Qunita de Sao Luiz is located high off the main road and has the most amazing view across the Duoro River & Valley. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed with everything you need on hand -they are extremely quiet and peaceful. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The breakfast exceeded our expectations with an excellent selection. All in all it was a fabulous stay and one night wasn't long enough.

This is a vinyard (they don't make wine on site) and is tucked at the end of a valley, so all views were of the Douro river and wineries. The accommodation is distributed in different buildings and there is beautiful landscaping and outdoor seating, plus a pool looking over the valley. The food is very good (breakfast and dinner). We missed out on a wine tasking - you do need to book - but did our own by the glass on the restaurant terrace. Not really for kids, but for adults, a lovely place. The staff were super friendly and really did make us feel welcome.

Amazing view with lovely pool. Everything was clean and new. Great location for hiking/cycling nearby. I recommend to try the dinner, the fish with sautéed vegetables were delicious! The hosts are a very nice and friendly family. They happily fulfill every request. We wish them much success.

Everything was perfect! A charming property with lovely history. The room was comfortable and spacious, the grounds were surrounded by beautiful vineyards, the pool has a stunning view over the many vineyard covered rolling hills. The staff were extremely helpful with any and everything - reservations, recommendations, wineries to visit, taxis, etc. The service was above and beyond! We really enjoyed having a bottle of wine and charcuterie board while relaxing by the pool. The breakfast was also very delicious and beautifully set up. It was an absolutely perfect stay, and my husband and I can’t wait to return!

Very professional and friendly staff with an eye on every detail. The boutique accomodation is beautifully decorated and designed with a very cozy atmosphere. The view is absolutely breathtaking in every one of the rooms and the location of the peoperty being high up on the hill with massive ceiling to floor windows makes you want to capture the moment all day from when the fog rolls in during the mornings in February at sunrise to sunset over a glass of wine. We had a very comfortable and enjoying stay.

The owners of quinta Feliciano and Aurora are the most hospitable and kind people on earth. They showed us their wonderful organic garden, told us the history of how it all started, shared their home made dessert and home grown fruits, let us taste their wines and even helped us with the laundry when we couldn't find any in Pinhao. One of those experiences in Douro valley I will never forget. Also they are pet friendly, have their own 2 cute dogs and our Luna felt at home there.

    We had a really good experience! This new guesthouse located up the hills, surrounded by vineyards and great view (especially from the swimming pool). Great breakfast but on top of all, Cristina, Antonio and their son Eduardo were very kind and welcoming, provided all the information needed for a better stay here. Highly recommended
