The Conacul is not just a wonderful hotel, but a real mansion with a pool, gardens and horse-riding activities. The rooms don't have numbers, but names and each has a unique style - it was very interesting to experience. The owners were very hospitable and we had a really nice stay. We visited in December and I guess visiting in spring/summer would be even nicer.

    Everything was perfect. The view of the landmark castle from the room and the restaurant was beautiful. The buffet breakfast was excellent and had lots of great and fresh choices. The swimming pool and the spa center were nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and polite.

    The hotel is new, have very nice rooms and swimming pool. Maybe the water in the swimming pool was to warm for hot days, but anyway everything looked perfect and nice. Tasty breakfast have very good orange juice. The staff could learn maybe better English, but it's possible for sure to talk.

    First of all: the location. From everywhere (room, restaurant,spa) you will be amazed by the imposing castle view. There are very few locations in Europe that can offer something similar. Because we were checked in 2 hrs later (exceptional situation) ,we had our rooms upgraded free of charge and a complimentary wine bottle. All personnel very polite and attentive to our family needs. Breakfast - very nice. Family friendly place. Excelent inside swimming pool, dry and wet saunas.

    In front of the castle, modern, comfy bed, good amenities in the room, complementary water, chocolate, tea/coffee… good breakfast, sauna, swimming pool, jacuzzi , hot water, heater … staff are friendly and speak English.

    Very very nice boutique hotel, more than I expectted go find in a small town like Hunedoara Very very pleasant and helpful staff: I had a few additional requests and they worked to meet each of them. Very very nice facilities and amenities: big comfy room, hot tub, smart tv with Netflix, even a small outdoor heated pool.
