The room was comfy too and included a mini bar, safe and TV. The resort feels like a mini village and the place feels well organized. There are shops, restaurants and massage places within 5 mins walk nearby. Our room was cleaned daily. A nice extra touch was the canvas bag and plastic free bag which we used all the time for carrying our stuff. We stayed in the Plantation building which has a big swimming pool inside. Staff was very nice and spoke amazing English. Great bathroom/shower. Lovely balcony. The pool was awesome, with a swim-up bar. Perfect beach setting for sunset views. The area is close to everything you could need in Koh Tao; we didn't need a taxi to go anywhere and the resort provides free shuttle to and from the pier.
