It is a cozy, very comfortable and clean boutique hotel, close to the Ephesus ancient site yet in a calm quarter. The staff are very friendly, respectful and helpful. The breakfast was nice as well. I will definitely come back next time.

The Nazar Hotel was a good choice for our 5 night stay in Selcuk. The owner also owns a tour agency and was happy to share his knowledge and tips with us. He is an excellent English speaker, even studied English at university. Our first room was very tiny - so we changed rooms to a larger room with a beautiful view of the castle for the rest of our stay. The room and bathroom were large and very clean. Breakfast was very good, consisting of a hard boiled egg, cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, bread, jams, and honey. Much of the food comes from the owners farm out of town. The grounds were lovely and the pool was immaculate. It was on the cold side, but that felt great after a day out in the sun. The hotel was about a 5 minute walk into the main area of old Selcuk, close to many restaurants, shops, etc. On our last day we had asked the owner to arrange a taxi to take us to Kusadasi - we were taking a ferry from the port over to the Greek Islands for a 9 am ship. He suggested we needed to leave by 7:30 am. About 5 minutes before we were to leave, the taxi driver called in sick - so the owner rushed around and drove us in his own car all the way - about a 20 minute drive. It was really a thoughtful thing to do, since it's hard to find taxi's around town and we would have potentially missed our ferry. I would highly recommend Nazar Hotel.

    This is a wonderful property. I enjoyed the gorgeous view of the mountains from the jacuzzi in my room 😍 The ambiance was peaceful, and the bed allowed for a great sleep. The pool is very refreshing, and the breakfast provided in the morning was delicious. The staff are kind and welcoming. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Thank you!!!

    Look, it's not easy to give a review to this stay. The hotel was very nice, with a wonderful pool, in a very beautiful location, with a nice family keeping it. Breakfast was great and the restaurant below (separate business) is also very very good.
