The apartment is newly renovated, super clean and the kitchen is perfectly equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The view from the balcony was incredible and we soon found out why there were 2 sets of binoculars - you can watch whales right from the balcony! The pool is smaller but good, clean and the water is nice and warm. We were able to see turtles every night right in front of the building on the little beach there. A proper beach is about 5 mins walking distance. We loved the location because it was 12 mins drive from the airport, super close to Kahului or Kihei for grocery shopping and conveniently placed to go explore the island - Lahaina, Road to Hana, Wailea.

Clean, peaceful location. The owners were very kind and helpful. They left little snacks that were welcome. I wish we could have stayed longer. We loved breakfast on the lanai. The myna birds serenade us on the evenings.

Absolutely beautifully kept grounds with a long walkable beach with seaturtles. It was fun watching the windsurfers, and the place is quiet, but close to excellent restaurants. Traveling as a family, 5 adults, we appreciated the large family room, balcony, and easy parking. Picking up the keys was very smooth despite arriving after hours. AND the staff provided a personalized note, flowers, and welcome munchies for my mother on Mother's Day. This place exceeded our expectations.

    The room was exactly as described. Kitchen was well stalked with utensils, food containers, etc. Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, snorkeling gear all there. Binoculars in the room was awesome. View was superb. Pool was fantastic. Would 100% stay again.

    Island Sands 505 is wonderfully renovated and has an exceptional oceanfront view. The pool is perfect for the size of Island Sands. Perfect central location if you will be doing activities all over Maui. Only a small, unswimmable beach at the unit but a very nice public beach just a very short walk down the street. AA Oceanfront was very communicative throughout the entire process and everything was prepared for our arrival. Easy entry and easy check out. Highly recommend Island Sands 505!!
