There are many opportunities to go swimming right here at the homestay and a little waterfall you can jump in from. Also you can visit a bigger waterfall in the area, 5 minutes away with the motorbike. The food was so delicious I could not get enough and the people running the homestay are the most kind people I met in Vietnam and that says a lot! Comfortable beds & good food. The owner brought us in a 2 km walk up mountain pass the rice fields to a beautiful waterfall where you could swim. It was a great find. Get the bus to Lac Son from Hanoi and then a 25km taxi ride over the mountain. If you go at the weekend you have the place to yourself nearly as at weekends it is a popular destination for the locals.
