The waterfront Confederation Place Hotel, located in downtown Kingston on Kingston Harbour, features rooms with flat-screen cable TVs and free WiFi. The hotel offers a seasonal outdoor pool. Firstly, the location of the Hotel is perfect,our room overloooked the waterfront which was beautiful also very close to the market square,lovely bars and restaurants. We enjoyed the free breakfast bento box style,boiled eggs,cheese, yoghurt,a muffin,juice and or fruit with help yourself hot drinks. The staff are the jewel in this hotel’s crown,every member we encountered were warm,welcoming and helpful. Our coffee machine wasn’t working,the receptionist made sure it was replaced immediately and kindly asked if it was working ok later that day.We didn’t need our room cleaned as only staying two nights,nevertheless the room service staff asked if we needed fresh towels ,coffee or bath products . Don’t be put off by the look of the hotel,as it is quite dated from the outside,also the rooms could do with a refresh ,but the bedding ,towels and facilities were comfortable and spotless,we wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we came to Kingston. Recommend the Thousand Island boat trip,Bobby Pecorino for wine small plates and ambiance and Chez Piggy for drinks and food .
