Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, quiet street view and a patio, Casa Rural Casa La Abuela is located in Belmonte. This is a lovely modern house with all the facilities that you need. Outside it looks very standard for the area, but inside it is beautifully maintained and very clean. The hosts obviously live very close by as when I told them I had arrive they were there within three minutes and we very helpful but with no English. I particularly liked the fact that the house will take up to eight people but we just paid for two for our stay. This is achieved by only opening up the bedrooms that are required. It's perfectly paced for Belmonte Castle, that is worth visiting, but take the car. Belmonte itself is not the liveliest place in Spain! The house was perfect for the one night that we stayed there.

My kid and I had a blast. Pool, non-stop ice-cream wending machines (take some cash with you), good breakfast and really welcoming owners and staff. Definitely will return to have some peace and rest from the city.

Very comfortable, welcoming and relaxing. The food was delicious- local home-cooked food. The room was wonderful - up in the loft, with heaps of space. Beautifully renovated old building. The owners were very accommodating and kind, helping us deal with the car hire company when our car broke down.
