We were traveling from Santander, after taking the ferry from the uk, on the way to Cannes. To break up the 10 hour drive we stopped half way at this enchanting hotel. What can I say about the couple who run the establishment other then, charming, hospitable and hardworking. We arranged check in for 7pm and requested dinner after our long travel day. Another couple w a young baby were also staying at the hotel and joined us for dinner. It was like something out of Eat, Pray, Love. We dined under the stars w thinking fairy lights, sharing stories and laughs. Our hosted served us a delicious three course dinner with wine and beer available for purchase. Rooms were modern and well decorated. The area is surrounded by farms and the only noise is from a couple of peacocks at the neighboring farm. Breakfast before our journey to Cannes was hot coffee and pastries. A perfectly romantic French way to start our trip. Our gratitude towards our hosts cannot be summed in a review. If we are blessed, we will visit this place again.

We were delighted to find a place to stay so close to the Voie Verte—with no hill! But even more, what a treat to be welcomed by Isabel, who showed us the grounds and had time for conversation. We so appreciated that the little pool was made available to us, even though it was still April. And le petite dejeuner—oh my! The fresh, homemade brioche, plus head boiled farm eggs , multiple cheeses, fresh marmalade, etc. and great coffee. We would return if we ever are cycling this region again.
