This 5-star hotel offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi.... It was a lovely building in a very laid-back, hip-feeling neighbourhood. The back garden restaurant and bar was peaceful, serene and impeccably staffed. The rooms were comfortable and designed with a polished, inventive and playful eye. We were warmly greeted, pampered and our every wish fulfilled frontje moment we arrived to the moment we (wistfully) departed. If we are ever in that neck of the earth again, we would gladly return to The Bold Type.

Everyone we met was eager to help. The rooms were simple and clean, and the buffet was full of options. In general, we are very glad with our option and we will consider it again in the future. It was super easy while having a baby, because they also provide baby food, and fruit puree for them <3

Offering pool views, Chalet Azanias Kalavryta is an accommodation set in Kalavrita, 13 km from The monastery of Mega Spilaio and 42 km from Chelmos-Vouraikos National Park. Chalet Azanias far exceeded our expectations! It is a first rate establishment at an unbelievable location. The views of the valley and Kalavrata were stunning (see pictures) . The vanishing point pool was a perfect temperature and also shared the amazing view. The host and her crew were so gracious and helpful with suggestions of what to do in the area. They also cooked us a light breakfast every morning, and had the best fresh yogurt, fruit, local preserves, and other treats waiting for us in our room. We traveled as a family with 2 adults and 3 children, and our kids had a blast hiking, swimming, and exploring the town. There was so much to do and explore on the backroads and up to the top of the mountains. We wished we had stayed longer, and you can easily spend 4-5 days just getting to know the area. In the summer, when we traveled, there were tons of fresh local fruit and produce available. And the warm Gulf of Corinth is just a scenic drive or train ride down the hill if you want to mix it up for a day trip. Also a must see is the monastery, the monuments, and the local eatery's with delicious local food. The people were all very good natured and helpful. We will return to Kalavrata and Chalet Azanias. Chalet Stiga Kalavrita - Apartments is set in Kalavrita, 11 km from The monastery of Mega Spilaio, 45 km from Chelmos-Vouraikos National Park, and 39 km from Lake Tsivlou. We had a wonderful stay in apartment Styga in Kalavrita. The place was very clean, and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature, making it a perfect spot to relax and explore. Highly recommend it!

Boasting accommodation with a pool with a view, pool view and a patio, Chalet Stiga Kalavrita - Maisonettes is situated in Kalavrita. Feb 2025 - The Chalet complex is quite impressive with a large outdoor secure area and easy access. We stayed in one of the upper level two floor accommodations (3 bed room) which has been perfectly appointed for a true alpine feel. Inside is spacious yet cozy. The views from all windows and decks are really stunning. You are very close to the village square with a 4 minute drive (15 mins max waking). Very functional & comfortable is all aspects...beds, linens, bathrooms. kitchen etc... The Area is lovely with quite an important history which is on display if interested. No lack of tavernas, cafe's and shops for all kinds of interests and needs. Nature is more than abundant is all directions. Enjoy - we did.
