I just adored everything about casa Vasari. Beautiful views and grounds to explore. Such a nourishing and picturesque place to stay. I ended up staying a few extra nights. The town itself is very sweet and a stones throw to other main Tuscan towns. Also the beds and pillows were super comfortable which is important when you’re traveling.

Situated within 33 km of Piazza Grande and 50 km of Perugia Cathedral, BORGO IN SAN ANGELO offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Cortona. We loved the space and the pool.

This small hotel seems like a remote hamlet, but the location is actually ideal. No matter how short or far your trip was, Silvia's Locanda Agli Amici is a bit like coming home to completely relax. At night it is quiet and peaceful, but during the day you can also avoid the hustle and bustle of the much-visited beautiful towns in this part of Tuscany. Not only are you within walking distance (1.5 km) of the edge of picturesque Cortona, on the way you will come across a beautiful old remote district at the old city wall before you descend into the city. You will always come across a formidably beautiful view of the plain to the south and west of Cortona. The view from the terrace by the pool, and even from the own bistro of 'Agli Amici' is also breathtaking. In the distance, Lake Trasimeno is also always showing off. Don't be fooled by the term 'bistrot'; in the room where an enormously varied and super tasty breakfast can be served in the morning, the most delicious local dishes and wines are served in the evening. It is a particularly good restaurant where the jack-of-all-trades Silvia and her small but very competent team ensure top service, with expert explanations about wines and dishes. And of course, breakfast tastes even better on the cinematically beautiful terrace with a view of the valley and Lake Trasimeno in the distance. The rooms are tastefully and modernly furnished. Don't expect a refined agriturismo (which is also beyond reproach), but this is just a little more refined. The name has already been mentioned a few times: hostess Silvia spares no effort to please her guests. This is an absolute must.

Agriturismo Belagaggio is located in Montefollonico and features a pool with a view and garden views. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. If I could rate Belagaggio higher I would it is incredible. The team are amazing, the location is amazing. It’s the perfect get away. We felt we didn’t have to leave because everything was there. Make sure you stay for dinner because it was beautiful.

Located within 22 km of Piazza Grande in Castiglion Fiorentino, Agriturismo La Pievuccia offers accommodation with seating area. We love the peacefullness and the warmness in this place. The owners Jenni and Stephen are wonderfull, dedicated to help their guest. The heart of the kitchen- Carla, makes delicious breakfast. The friendly animals Luna dog and the cats, are joy of a day. We came to this place with our family already a second time. It’s a feeling like coming home because of the friendshipness we share already with the people of La Pievuccia.

I only stayed at for a day, but it was wonderful. The room was spotless and cozy, perfect for a quick rest. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making even a short visit feel special. I wish I could’ve stayed longer — highly recommend!
