The family make breakfast and even arranged ours early as we were travelling the next dad. The father welcomed us at breakfast and we ate jam made from fruit and flowers grown at the Villa, as well home made yoghurt (delicious) and omlettes. You feel part of the family.

The Villa Athena Resort has a private entrance to the Valley of the Temples. Hotel is excellent.

It was a very peaceful location and we spent a lot of time relaxing which was just what we needed. The host family were very accommodating and put a lot of effort into making our stay as best as possible.

Breakfast was delicious and had something for everyone: eggs, ham, salami, cheese, fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as a wide variety of sweet options – croissants, cakes, and spreads. And the coffee was excellent! The pool was fantastic – clean and well-maintained, and it even had a diving board, which our kids (and my husband 😃) absolutely loved. All in all, a wonderful stay – highly recommended!
