The staff went above and beyond — they even offered to pick us up from Kamioka Station, which we didn’t expect at all. It was such a pleasant surprise. The service throughout our stay was incredible: extremely polite, warm, and genuinely kind. Honestly, the staff deserves 15 out of 10. Our room had a private onsen, and it was amazing. The room itself was in a traditional Japanese style and felt very cozy. The outdoor onsen was especially beautiful — such a unique and relaxing experience. Breakfast was both interesting and delicious. I highly recommend this ryokan to anyone looking for a special stay near Kyoto.
