Everything was incredibly clean and well stocked. Loved having the outside patio space with bbq and it’s rare to have access to a pool! The owners are unbelievably kind and generous!!!

The room was massive (I think it’s listed as a 3 person room it felt like it was big enough for 4). The private onsen was great - we used it 3 times during our 1 night stay. The public onsen was also great. But by far the best part of our stay was the staff - they are super friendly and adorable. We have very very limited Japanese, but they communicated with us well. They spoke enough English to tell us about our stay. They put out the futons for us while we were out for dinner (they asked what time we would be out and clearly communicated to us that they would come into our room during that time to put out the futons) and brought breakfast to our room the next morning at the time we requested. Breakfast was delicious too, with a great variety! I think this is my favourite hotel stay of not only this Japan trip, but also any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. 100% recommend!

Directly connected to JR Nagoya Station, the Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel offers an indoor swimming pool and a fitness centre with workout machines at a charge, 8 restaurants and free WiFi. I loved it. I travel full time & for a Marriott, this was great value for money. Big spacious rooms, very professional staff & a fabulous location. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
