A special thank you to Maya and Paula, who welcomed us so warmly every morning and prepared the best pancakes we have ever had. The welcome from Luis was a true delight – so friendly and genuine. Célia and Marta impressed us with their attention to detail and the way they served us so beautifully at the table. Marta, the pastry chef, amazed us with the best handmade desserts we have ever tasted. And of course, we cannot forget Ruben, the chef, who with so much love and care prepared for us an incredible variety of delicious dishes. Very friendly front desk staff who gave a warm welcome. Dream room with lots of space, lovely bathtub and patio area overlooking olive groves. And separate sleeping area and lounge. Really wonderful getaway that was super peaceful and restorative, at the foot of the mountain of Monsaraz. Wanted to stay longer it was so wonderful. Beautiful gardens and land surrounding it with 2500 year old olive trees!
