I stayed at the Spot Hostel while walking the Camino de Santiago and it was the perfect stay. Most of the rooms are private, but in the common areas you get to relax with other pilgrims. Fão, where the Hostel is located is a charming village and has restaurants if you don’t want to use the kitchen at the hostel.

Everything was excellent! I can honestly say it was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The staff were warm and welcoming, the room was very comfortable, dinner was delicious, and breakfast was outstanding. The views were absolutely breathtaking.

Set in Viana do Castelo and facing Lima River, the AP Dona Aninhas is 2 minutes' walking from the city centre. The location was perfect. Right in the centre of the town. Breakfast was unbelievable, everything you could wish for was available. The room was comfortable.

This is an amazing hotel, adapted from what used to be a monastery. You feel the comfort, the history, and the super attentive staff is exceptionally friendly without being intrusive. The bar and restaurant live up to the northern Portugal traditions.
