We did not arrive until after 10pm thanks to SJ railway and the bar staff Jorgen and Rasmus were outstanding as they made a chess and meat platter for us.

This hotel dates back to the 19th century and enjoys a waterfront location. The Stora Torget square is within 100 metres, while Karlstad Central Station is a 5-minute walk away. Great Hotel at great location. Extremely friendly and helpful team. Parking, several restaurants and bars nearby (1-2 min walk). Breakfast was very good. If you like to visit Karlstad this Hotel is my recommendation.

This quiet hotel lies by Lake Vänern, just 5 minutes’ drive from Vänersborg city centre. It has a gym and spa and offers free Wi-Fi, pool and sauna access. I really enjoyed the view and the water pressure. I'm a stickler for the water pressure.

Felt very welcome and the personal was very helpful. Very helpful about the fasilitets in the hotel. Our dog felt very welcome to👍☺️

Situated just off the E18 highway, this eco-friendly hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool open during the summer months, along with free parking and free Wi-Fi. Karlstad city centre is 3 km away. breakfast was excellent didn't have time to experience the pool

First Hotel Royal lies in central Säffle, only 500 m from the Säffle Train station. Very polite helpful and co operative staff. Good breakfast. Excellent bar and food. Car parking excellent. Charging points available. Central location near canal and river. Easy walk from station.
