It was in a quiet area with beautiful surroundings (winery, pool). The room was very comfortable. We really enjoyed interacting with the staff. They were very kind and always available to answer any questions and had many recommendations. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed doing their wine tasting as well.

We received a wonderful welcome from Mirjana, who greeted us with a glass of her fine Teran and we felt instantly at home. Skerlj is a historic wine estate which goes back six generations to 1788; our room was cosy and full of character with beautiful old furniture. Delicious breakfasts with homemade eggs, local jams and honeys etc. Mirjana gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner both nights. A lovely place to wind down and enjoy the atmosphere with the friendly cats and elderly dog. Thoroughly recommended, we can’t wait to return!
