I understand why this place is rated an almost perfect 10. We booked last minute (20min prior to arrival) and you would have thought they'd been preparing for us all day. We had the entire place to ourselves during low season but they didn't skimp on anything. I cannot say enough good things about everything from the room to the cellar tour to the fresh made warm croissants at breakfast. It was perfect.

Nataša and Ales were super hospitable and welcomed us with nice food and drink. We would definetly recommend a stay at Kras 24!

The surrounding area is countryside but the level of comfort in the apartment is amazing. You can enjoy the peaceful little town but at the same time not lose the all the extras of a good apartment. Our family truly loved this place and we will definitely visit this place again. Also, the room was impeccably clean and the terrace outside our place is perfect for a nice long evening.

We received a wonderful welcome from Mirjana, who greeted us with a glass of her fine Teran and we felt instantly at home. Skerlj is a historic wine estate which goes back six generations to 1788; our room was cosy and full of character with beautiful old furniture. Delicious breakfasts with homemade eggs, local jams and honeys etc. Mirjana gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner both nights. A lovely place to wind down and enjoy the atmosphere with the friendly cats and elderly dog. Thoroughly recommended, we can’t wait to return!

We were thrilled with the delicious cuisine, all prepared with fresh local ingredients, and we couldn’t get enough of the excellent wines produced by the winery. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making our stay even more special. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! We can’t wait to return!🇧🇬🍀🍇🍷

DAM Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel that is well situated to explore not only the Slovenian wine region, but also to easily explore all of Slovenia's many charms. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and beautifully landscaped, including a newly added pool. There is a lovely bar that serves the restaurant for pre/post dining cocktails and is also used for the breakfast service. Michelin starred DAM Restaurant situated in the hotel is something to be experienced! It is helmed by the charming chef Uroš Fakuč and every course is personally supervised by him; mouthwatering seafood prepared to perfection! And highly recommend getting the wine pairing; Uroš pairs every course with wine from the region. The meal was so good, we went back the next night; chef Uroš prepared a seven-course meal just for us so that we didn’t have to eat the same thing twice! Talk about personalized service. If you are visiting Slovenia, especially the wine region, there is no reason to look any further than Dam Boutique Hotel and Restaurant!
