The room was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and comfortable. The gardens surrounding the accommodation were beautiful. Breakfast was available each morning on the back patio and included cereal, yoghurt, bagels, fresh papaya and tea and coffee. Su and Steve were very welcoming and friendly with suggestions of things to do. We arrived from Volcano with ash and pele's hair on our car. Su very kindly hosed down our car. We would not hesitate to recommend Orchid Tree to anyone coming to Hilo.

The house was absolutely perfect for our family gathering. We came together to remember our sister who passed away. We had 7 adults and 4 kids . The pool is great and the separate wing for part of the family was nice. Spacious so plenty of space to get together comfortably and we could all eat at the dining table together. The kitchen has everything needed and so clean and organized. And big enough to cook a big meal for everyone . The bedrooms have very comfortable quality beds and very nice bedding. Everything is top tier . Highly recommend to big groups. Good communication when we had questions also .

Offering free WiFi in public spaces, Hilo Reeds Bay Hotel is set in Hilo. Free private parking is available on site. The property is located in a 3-story building with rooms only accessible via... While the rooms are a blast from the past, the price was amazing and our room had the most beautiful view of the bay and cruise ships. The best part of the trip was Albert, the groundskeeper. We learned about the history of the hotel, the island and had the best conversation about everything and nothing at the same time. If you stay here, you have to find Albert!

The hotel is exceptional. I really enjoyed my time here. The staff are amazing people. They really care about making your stay as amazing as they can. You get complimentary kombutcha with your stay. The rooms are clean and very neatly maintained. The location is also amazing. Its a little bit away from town so its quiet and calm. The area around the hotel is great in terms of scenic viewing. You can snorkel in the water and see some turtles. The japanese garden is a beautiful 20 minutes walk from it.
