One thing we almost missed was the breakage deposit that needs to be paid, a little unusual for booking with booking.com, but not the end of the world. Built in a Cape Dutch style, Birkenhead Manor offers country style rooms decorated in bright yellow tones. Each room features an en-suite bathroom with a shower, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and a mini bar. I travelled with my 90y old grandad. The place was clean and comfi and the pool was also great. What we appreciated the most was the amazing staff. Gladys and Rosemary made our room and breakfast each day and greeted us warmly. Rob, the manager welcomed us like family and gave us nice recommendations. He came around daily to check on my grandad and myself. We felt part of a little family during our 2 weeks’ stay. Tableview is great location if you want to be a little bit outside the crazy city life and still be able to get to town in 20min.
