Very good for us 3 friends that traveled together, would be amazing for a family of 4 as well. Well equipped. Views outstanding. Porch large and comfortable, with magnificent views. Highly recommended. One thing we almost missed was the breakage deposit that needs to be paid, a little unusual for booking with booking.com, but not the end of the world. Check-in instructions only supplied once you pay the breakage deposit.

Birkenhead is situated just 450 metres from the white, sandy Blouberg Beachfront. This guest house features a pool, sun terrace and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. I did not eat breakfast but took a breakfast pack. They went through a lot of trouble to assist me in that way. It was a big help. I really enjoyed and appreciated their effort. The location was perfect for my needs.

We were made very welcome by the host Dirk. The facilities were good and presented well. The breakfast is generous and very enjoyable. The location was good, quiet and yet close to the beach and a pleasant easy walk to restaurants and shops.

The onsite gym, indoor and outdoor pools, and braai area make it ideal for family vacations, yet it’s equally perfect for a solo sabbatical. I found it to be a wonderful environment for work too—quiet, inspiring, and well-equipped. The hosts were also incredible and friendly and attentive. Truly a memorable stay and I will be back .
