The Burj Khalifa dominates the skyline like a gleaming needle, while the traditional souks in Deira transport you to old Arabia with their fragrant spices and glittering gold. The city's ambition is infectious – whether you're skiing indoors at Mall of the Emirates, watching the fountain show at Dubai Mall, or taking a desert safari at sunset, everything feels larger than life. The food scene is incredible, from street-side shawarma to world-class fine dining with views that stretch across the Persian Gulf. What impressed me most was how efficiently everything runs. The metro is spotless and punctual, the malls are architectural marvels, and the hospitality is genuinely warm. Yes, it can feel artificial at times, and the summer heat is brutal, but there's something undeniably magical about this city that rose from the desert in just a few decades. Dubai isn't just a destination – it's an experience that shows you what's possible when vision meets execution. This is one of the best places I stayed in Dubai. The apartment is beautiful, with a comfortable bed, a nice high desk to work from, plenty of room in the cupboards, a great kitchen and bathroom. Host was extremely helpful and communicative, an excellent host. The parking is easy and covered. The pool is beautiful, with very comfortable sun lounges, perfect to relax after a long day at work. Great camp with the BEST staff.
Great camp with the BEST staff. They tend to your needs around the clock. My only drawback is the restroom situation. The toilet and shower is in one very small stall. Had to hang change of clothes in different stall to keep the shower from wetting them. Another drawback is COLD showers. No hot water at all even after letting it run for some time. My husband caught a slight cold because the desert gets cool in the evening, and the walk back to the tent from the cold shower did him in. Also on my booking confirmation , it said there would be a bidet in the tent. There was not one, but I think that is best. Not mad about that at all. On a good note, we really enjoyed the dishes we were served with such great variety. The entertainment was nice. We booked for two nights, but one night is more than enough.
