We ate at Toro 3 nights in a row. Best steaks and sides, as well as atmosphere and service. Punta Cana is a lovely place.
Punta Cana is a lovely place. It would be nice to have public transportation buses to the Blue Mall etc. Lots to see and do here. It would be really nice to be able to book tourist sight seeing flights on helicopters and small planes. We did zip lining and visited the monkeys..both good experiences our parasailing was cancelled correctly due to the tropical storm. I always try to leave small tips for workers in the resorts. Willemstad is very nice and colorful city. I loved floating market. Curious thing happened to me when I was parking a car I rented. I did not have coins and parking watches do not accept credit cards. An old man is siting on the parking and he is eating his sandwich. He calls me and gives me a coin to pay parking. It's a quaint little town. All the restaurants are Italian or pizzerias. They were fair to good. The stores are interesting. It is a small village. Sad, overpriced and not very nice. A lot of rubbish everywhere. No local culture. Beaches were poor. Theres a view of a large powerstation from the beach. No good food available apart from ridiculously overpriced top-end restaurants. Very shabby and disappointing overall.
