- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 3,351 reviewsLovely campsite, mobile home was great, lovely layout, good facilities - ours had a pool share which was brilliant for our daughter. We used onsite restaurant (trattoria feral) a few times, good selection of quality food. Water park was great, lots to do if you want bikes/beach etc. small bakery on site we used a couple of times for breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay and certainly would return. Many other restaurants nearby and in Rovinj. Got water taxi into Rovinj harbour one evening. We’ve visited Istria a few times and this is the first time we’ve stayed on a site like this but it definitely had benefits especially for families. Mostly quiet at night as a lot of families on park, we really enjoyed our stay.Guest review byHelenUnited Kingdom
- From $123.37 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,900 reviewsWe booked last minute and were given an upgrade at check in. The room was very roomy and comfortable. The view was amazing! We had dinner at the restaurant and were given a complimentary appetizer and glass of wine. The food was very high quality and fresh. Breakfast was also very good with lots of choices. Sadly, we only got to stay one night. If we ever are able to return to Slovenia we will certainly stay at Belvedere Resort again. I highly recommend this place for lodging and food. The staff is excellent and friendly.Guest review byElaineUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 688 reviewsCertainly one of the most wonderful hotels I've ever been! It's located close to the center of Izola - a car is not needed (nor recommended) to visit it. From the back entry, the Dolphin Beach is just a few steps away. It's a rocky shore, but there are several stairs into the water. The inside pool is filled with salty water, which is great. Italy is not far away, you can see Trieste across the sea. In the town, everbody seems to be able to speak Italian. The vew from the balcony is outstanding.Guest review bySven Boris SchreiberGermany

Staff is so polite and friendly. Check it went very smooth. Our room was clean and very comfy. Bed was soooooo good. We slept like baby's. And the view from the balcony is absolutely amazing. Breakfast was very good with so many variations. We enjoyed out time at Bernardin hotel once more.Guest review byBenko B.Austria

We took several FreeTours and all of them were very informative and interesting. The guides were well-versed in the area's history and able to communicate clearly, often with a good sense of humor. Getting around the town is pretty easy; there are restaurants that provide typical food all over, but it's better to request recommendations from the tour guides.Guest review byCarmen MitzyUnited States - 10.0
Loved Lokrum Island.
Loved Lokrum Island. Watching the sunset from Lapad was so peaceful. The cable car going up to Mount Srd wasn’t really worth it as it was very quick and packed with people so we couldn’t see much on the way up but was still worth seeing the views from the top - some people choose to take Uber to the top instead of cable car which is cheaper. Old town was really good to experience - very clean with lots of places to eat. A must try is Holy Burek and gelato from Peppino’s, Aroma and Mostro. Dinner at Gradska Kavana Arsenal was lovely. We also had a delicious and very well priced meal at Richeta. All of these places are in old down.Guest review byNosheenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Zadar was recommended to us by friends.
Zadar was recommended to us by friends. It was a lovely old town with loads of bars and restaurants. Everyone was friendly, we didn't see anything that made us feel unsafe. The promenade walk around the small marina at the Land Gate, to the Sea Organ and onto the larger marina was lovely. We took a boat trip to 3 islands (4 hours) on a speedboat which was really enjoyable. It might be worth checking which days the cruise ships are in port as it made a massive difference to how busy the Old Town was. We hired a car and had trips out to Zaton, Nin and Pag. Pag was amazing, it was like going to the moon next to the sea. We were forecast to have a day of thundery showers (but it never happened!) so we booked a session at the Visnjik sports centre to play Padel and keep dry. An amazing facility for any sporty people, worth a visit.Guest review byAngelaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The old town is very impressive The town itself is very touristy, which is no wonder since it is a summer town on the beach with lots of vacationers. That is why prices everywhere are quite expensiveGuest review bySimonIsrael - 10.0

Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings and unfinished construction as well as scattered trash. The seafront promenade is long and pleasant, lined with plenty of restaurants and small shops. Public transport is available and inexpensive, with a bus ticket costing 40 lek. You can also find bike rentals for exploring the city.Guest review byLiinaEstonia - 10.0

Beautiful old town, essential to take a boat trip along the bay to view the majestic mountains. The cable car is also a great activity, not only do you get a view of Kotor Bay but when you get to the top there is a lot to explore. The roads are very busy so it takes a while to get around. Essential to book a taxi before you arrive at the airport as the taxis from there are very expensive. Absolutely amazing scenery. Very busy old town as cruise liners arrive daily.Guest review byGeraldine - 8.0
I would love to return to this old town to explore more.
I would love to return to this old town to explore more. We arrived too late and left too early to get to our next stop. We only got to walk abit around town. It would have been so nice to explore the church etc.Guest review bycweeSingapore - 10.0

Very beautiful place, both the city center and the beaches were great. One of the most beautiful places I've seen with those amazing caves by the sea. Easy public transport, a lot of activities to do (ship cruise, kayaking, wine tasting, sightseeing etc.). The city center offers many many cafes and restaurants in different price ranges (delicious pizza for 9 euro) and many very interesting places to see and visit (e.g. the underground tunnels and the Arena). I highly recommend, we were there for 4 days and I regret I didn't take more holidays to stay there longer. There's a lot too see also on the islands nearby and museums, we didn't have time for that unfortunately.Guest review byZuzannaBelgium - 10.0

I have been visiting Poreč for more than 10 years, and it is always a wonderful experience. It’s a very beautiful town with a charming atmosphere, lovely beaches, and plenty to see and do. Every visit feels special, and I will definitely keep coming back.Guest review byAtenaSlovenia - 10.0
Everything about this place is breathtaking.
Everything about this place is breathtaking. Except for one thing: the sheer number of tourists. That's why it's worth sleeping there to enjoy the place late at night and especially in the morning. In the middle of the day, many, many tourists arrive, and it's really difficult then.Guest review byBartoszPoland
