Dubrovnik is very popular for good reasons, but also quite expensive. Best: relax on Lokrum island. Worst: you HAVE to do the city walls in one go - if you exit, you must pay €40 again. This is NOT stated on the Dubrovnik pass. Somehow you're supposed to understand that all sections of the wall are one location.Guest review byRolandSweden - 8.0

Budva, like the other cities in Montenegro, is a fantastic place, nice beaches, a very beautiful old town, has a lot of water activities and night life is brimming . It is indeed a destination worthy of travelling for both young and old. Just be ready with lots cash because most of the shops and restaurants there only accepts cash. There are ATMs everywhere but there are charges. Transportation wise, if you are just in Budva, everything is walking distance, going to the beach or the old town, there are just minutes away. But, if you want to visit other places, taking a bus is the most effective way, it's cheaper than taking a taxi where the driver will ask a ridiculous price. Just go to the bus station and buy the tickets there in cash, don't buy them online because once you arrive at the bus station, they will ask you to print it otherwise it's null and void, they have printing servie there but it's gonna be another pay (1 euro per print).Guest review byMurphy JohnUnited Kingdom - 6.0
I find that the banking situation is an obscene scam.
I find that the banking situation is an obscene scam. All of my credit card purchases serviced by Raiffheisen Bank were declined at grocery stores for some reason. Several ATMS did not provide me with cash. I had to take cash out of an ATM that charged me $50 US Dollars to take cash out, because the card servicer wasn't approving the card transactions at the grocery store. I have not had this serious of a problem in any other country. I didn't really explore a lot. I wish there was a store that carried camping/hiking equipment. I think the coastline is nice. The restaurant prices seem to be reasonable. Mostly I stayed in my room at my hostel by myself so I can't really be reliable to rate the entire city.Guest review byLyddiebeeUnited States - 10.0

Beautiful old town, essential to take a boat trip along the bay to view the majestic mountains. The cable car is also a great activity, not only do you get a view of Kotor Bay but when you get to the top there is a lot to explore. The roads are very busy so it takes a while to get around. Essential to book a taxi before you arrive at the airport as the taxis from there are very expensive. Absolutely amazing scenery. Very busy old town as cruise liners arrive daily.Guest review byGeraldine - 10.0

Pula is a lovely, surprising destination.
Pula is a lovely, surprising destination. A working port that also has a stunning coastline. The old town is like a mini Rome complete with an intact roman arena. People are friendly and the small city has a nice cosmopolitan feel. Public transport is easy to use and has an extensive network. Destined to become more popular, so go see it now!Guest review byskids64United Kingdom - 10.0
Great place with old narrow streets.
Great place with old narrow streets. We enjoyed them during the first day, the second day we took a half day boat (Red Island, Lin Fjord, Pirates Cave, Music, wine, delicious fish) and right after we left the boat, we rent electric scooters to go through the entire Punta Corrente and the next 10km. forests and beaches (two hours rent was enough). A dinner at the Graciano place with a view to the old town was the perfect finish of the day.Guest review byBudinov - 10.0
