- From $123.16 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,900 reviewsWe booked last minute and were given an upgrade at check in. The room was very roomy and comfortable. The view was amazing! We had dinner at the restaurant and were given a complimentary appetizer and glass of wine. The food was very high quality and fresh. Breakfast was also very good with lots of choices. Sadly, we only got to stay one night. If we ever are able to return to Slovenia we will certainly stay at Belvedere Resort again. I highly recommend this place for lodging and food. The staff is excellent and friendly.Guest review byElaineUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 688 reviewsCertainly one of the most wonderful hotels I've ever been! It's located close to the center of Izola - a car is not needed (nor recommended) to visit it. From the back entry, the Dolphin Beach is just a few steps away. It's a rocky shore, but there are several stairs into the water. The inside pool is filled with salty water, which is great. Italy is not far away, you can see Trieste across the sea. In the town, everbody seems to be able to speak Italian. The vew from the balcony is outstanding.Guest review bySven Boris SchreiberGermany

Staff is so polite and friendly. Check it went very smooth. Our room was clean and very comfy. Bed was soooooo good. We slept like baby's. And the view from the balcony is absolutely amazing. Breakfast was very good with so many variations. We enjoyed out time at Bernardin hotel once more.Guest review byBenko B.Austria

Dubrovnik is very popular for good reasons, but also quite expensive. Best: relax on Lokrum island. Worst: you HAVE to do the city walls in one go - if you exit, you must pay €40 again. This is NOT stated on the Dubrovnik pass. Somehow you're supposed to understand that all sections of the wall are one location.Guest review byRolandSweden - 10.0
Zadar was recommended to us by friends.
Zadar was recommended to us by friends. It was a lovely old town with loads of bars and restaurants. Everyone was friendly, we didn't see anything that made us feel unsafe. The promenade walk around the small marina at the Land Gate, to the Sea Organ and onto the larger marina was lovely. We took a boat trip to 3 islands (4 hours) on a speedboat which was really enjoyable. It might be worth checking which days the cruise ships are in port as it made a massive difference to how busy the Old Town was. We hired a car and had trips out to Zaton, Nin and Pag. Pag was amazing, it was like going to the moon next to the sea. We were forecast to have a day of thundery showers (but it never happened!) so we booked a session at the Visnjik sports centre to play Padel and keep dry. An amazing facility for any sporty people, worth a visit.Guest review byAngelaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Budva, like the other cities in Montenegro, is a fantastic place, nice beaches, a very beautiful old town, has a lot of water activities and night life is brimming . It is indeed a destination worthy of travelling for both young and old. Just be ready with lots cash because most of the shops and restaurants there only accepts cash. There are ATMs everywhere but there are charges. Transportation wise, if you are just in Budva, everything is walking distance, going to the beach or the old town, there are just minutes away. But, if you want to visit other places, taking a bus is the most effective way, it's cheaper than taking a taxi where the driver will ask a ridiculous price. Just go to the bus station and buy the tickets there in cash, don't buy them online because once you arrive at the bus station, they will ask you to print it otherwise it's null and void, they have printing servie there but it's gonna be another pay (1 euro per print).Guest review byMurphy JohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings and unfinished construction as well as scattered trash. The seafront promenade is long and pleasant, lined with plenty of restaurants and small shops. Public transport is available and inexpensive, with a bus ticket costing 40 lek. You can also find bike rentals for exploring the city.Guest review byLiinaEstonia - 10.0

Beautiful old town, essential to take a boat trip along the bay to view the majestic mountains. The cable car is also a great activity, not only do you get a view of Kotor Bay but when you get to the top there is a lot to explore. The roads are very busy so it takes a while to get around. Essential to book a taxi before you arrive at the airport as the taxis from there are very expensive. Absolutely amazing scenery. Very busy old town as cruise liners arrive daily.Guest review byGeraldine - 10.0

Great:
Great: * the city center is very beautiful and the ancient sights are well maintained * in touristy areas, the place is very clean * people are very friendly and helpful and willing and able to assist you in multiple languages * everything is very walkable * many restrooms and spots to sit down and have a drink or snack * many stores for necessities as well as souvenirs Bad: * very little parking available unless you're willing to walk 10 - 15 minutes to reach the city center * lots of trash and construction outside of the immediate tourist areas * not a lot of vegetarian or vegan options in restaurantsGuest review byAndyGermany - 10.0

I have been visiting Poreč for more than 10 years, and it is always a wonderful experience. It’s a very beautiful town with a charming atmosphere, lovely beaches, and plenty to see and do. Every visit feels special, and I will definitely keep coming back.Guest review byAtenaSlovenia - 10.0
Everything about this place is breathtaking.
Everything about this place is breathtaking. Except for one thing: the sheer number of tourists. That's why it's worth sleeping there to enjoy the place late at night and especially in the morning. In the middle of the day, many, many tourists arrive, and it's really difficult then.Guest review byBartoszPoland
