The security picked us up late in the evening at the street and brought us to the hotel, they reserved a parking space for free for us for a couple nights even though we were only staying 1 night. We were able to leave the car parked there until we came back from the theth valbone hike. Security was amazingly kind and brought us breakfast early in the morning when we had to leave for the shuttle bus. Best and kindest service I have ever had in a hotel.

The location was excellent, and the hotel itself was very nice and super clean. We had originally planned to stay just one night, but we enjoyed it so much that we decided to extend our stay for another night. The staff was very kind and even stored our luggage for us, which made our trip much easier.

We loved the facility in all. The personnel were very kind and spoke very good english. The breakfast was very good and abundant also. The beds were very very comfortable. Each room had air conditioning. Hot water any time. The architecture and the boho style was on point. And the trees surrounding the area were amazing. When the breeze would hit the trees you could hear them bushing the leaves. It was so therapeutic just to hear the trees and see the views. Far away from city noises. We loved it. We had 4 kids, 11, 12, 14 and 17 and everybody loved it. Congratulations Noima Hotel and Suites. Fantastic job.

We stayed for two nights and had an excellent experience. The hotel is in a great location, with a beautiful lake view from the balcony that made our mornings truly special. The breakfast was fully homemade, adding a delightful touch to our stay. The highlight of our visit was the host—he was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He provided us with a detailed itinerary for a day in Shkoder, making it easy to explore the city. Anytime we had trouble with maps, he was there to guide us. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

I was greeted with a warm smile by the lovely recepsionist who assisted me with the check in. Thy assigned room 306 for me which was spacious, modern and very comfortable. The bed was like a cloud and my sleep was amazing. The staff was absolutely attentive and catered to each need with a smile. Breakfast was abundant. Definitely will be back. Thank you Mozart Hotel.

    I had a great experience at Hotel Tradita. The traditional Albanian architecture and interior design give it a unique charm you don’t find in modern hotels. It truly feels like stepping into a piece of local history, but with all the comfort you need. The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated with traditional touches. The courtyard is a relaxing place to have a coffee or just unwind. One of the highlights was the restaurant—authentic local dishes, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Breakfast was also fresh and satisfying. Overall, Hotel Tradita offers not just a place to stay, but a real cultural experience. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Shkodër who wants something more than just a standard hotel room.

    Theth is breathtaking!

    Theth is breathtaking! At times I compared it to Switzerland. Other times to Nepal. The mountains are dramatic and the village, although bursting and bustling with tourists and hotels and restaurants - still maintains an authentic feel. The road to Theth is quite an experience with many switchbacks up and down and with traffic coming at you- you need a stomach of iron, but it’s so worth it to arrive on this gem of a valley. The road in the village is not paved so drive slowly. We had a fantastic dinner at villa Gjecaj restaurant- beautiful setting, peaceful and amazing food. Lots of hiking options. Pack your boots.

    This was our favorite spot in Albania.

    This was our favorite spot in Albania. It's secluded and personal and the staff was exceptional. Mark had us laughing the whole time and Sando kept us entertained with Raki and stories of Albania. We sat on the floating dock at night and saw every star in the sky. They took us to the beach for the day and we skipped rocks and swam in the freezing water under the hot sun. There was plenty to do at the beach, including zip lining, a DJ, bars, and more. I'd go back in a heartbeat. I'll never forget the friends we made there!

    It was the first time to be in Velipoje.

    It was the first time to be in Velipoje. It's not a big city but I am positively surprised. The Velipoja beach (where we were placed) was clean, the water was so clear and warm. The kids part with the toys at the center of the city was excellent. The food was good tasted, fresh and the staff was very polite.

    Mountains and hiking but without tourists and crowds like in Theth. Friendly and accommodating locals because most tourists do not stay overnight in Boge. Boge is only a quick stop for coffee then people continue to/from Theth.

    Reviews we read of Shkoder said it's a university town with lots of biking. Not sure what those reviewers were writing about, but there weren't many bike friendly areas and the town was not as vibrant as we expected. We did spend some time in the Shiroka area on the lake a 10 minute or so drive from Shkoder and that was very nice - good restaurants and lake activities. We also went to the mountains and stayed in Theth, which was wonderful and highly recommended.

    Theth is a little town surrounded by beautiful mountains. It has a few good restaurants, several good hiking options, things of historic and cultural interest and good swimming spots. It now has a few shops, an atm and a tourist office. It also has a zip wire which was fun!

    We stayed at the hotel before and after our river tour. It's an excellent place to stay for that purpose and there is an excellent swimming facility on the lake. We didn't checkout additional activities in the area.

    The hotel is close to the beach, which was great.

    The hotel is close to the beach, which was great. The pool was small but clean, and my son really enjoyed it. Breakfast was OK, and there are small shops nearby, along with parking available. I would have rated this 5 stars if it weren't for one issue: the cooking utensils. If you plan to book an apartment, I recommend bringing your own cooking pans, or you’ll be disappointed.

    Shkoder is a lovely city with great views, food and nice accommodation facilities. It's a safe place for families and youths with lots of activities around. In particular, the main city area near the beautiful Mosque is an absolute must for awesome food and shopping.
