Tandil is a beautiful little town with older houses but also modern buildings so it even has the city like feel the neighborhoods felt safe and the people were really down to earth and really nice. It has a beautiful bunch of walks and trails to choose from nice restaurants and bars that make you feel at home. I would’ve liked to stay longer to enjoy different trails because we only got to do two. There’s a beautiful park near the center, which is nice to go up and look around at the skyline and probably even take a picnic at. I would’ve loved to buy more cheeses and more salami and had more picnics maybe around the parks. And I would’ve loved to have rented a car or been in a car to be able to drive through the hills and through the houses and through the neighborhoods, but we were on foot. Which was still lovely walking around, but it was a short trip just two days I would’ve loved to stayed even a week, it was that beautiful, peaceful and just like being at home. We went to a restaurant where everyone ate six courses and we all started at the same time which I thought that was really cool. Tandil is known for cheese and salami so we bought a bunch of that to bring home to our friends in Buenos Aires. We also went to this nice restaurant that was organic and veggie and had a compost a dish a full garden of every vegetable. You could probably imagine and it was just such a lovely experience being surrounded by so much nature and such good people.Guest review byTiffani - 6.0

Many independent theatres and the famous Teatro Argentino. A lot of cultural possibilities. The best to visit in La Plata during week end and reservation is the house designed by the architect Courbusier.Guest review byClaudiaItaly - 8.0

Our first stay didn’t start well as the lady who spoke no English wanted her $70 before we got shown to the room. Then the room had a portable air con that had a hose out the door and had to be unplugged to close the door so no air con. As we were only there for a few hours it was fine. Had to leave at 3 am and Antonio was up and ready for us. Made transition smooth. Second time a month later was much better as room although crowded had air and was comfortable. Still had language barrier but got a simple breakfast and was allowed to stay until 1 pm when we left for airport.Guest review byDarrellCanada - 2.0
Bahía Blanca used to be a decent city, with everything...
Bahía Blanca used to be a decent city, with everything decently put and fine prices, but the last decade or two had turned it into a sh1t hole when it comes to hotels, taxis, and services in general. Absurd prices for absolute average and low quality services. For something really good, be ready to pay New York prices in this small, insignificant city. The only good restaurant in the city is Gambrinus, there's good service for short stops at YPF Full gas stations, and it's definitely NOT a place for any kind of tourism. Mornings in a good cafe can be something nice (if you find a decent cafe open before 10hs., and not run/catered by young stup1d and careless people), but not much more than that. If you don't NEED to come to Bahía Blanca, and your time/budget is limited, better stay away from it.Guest review bySebastianRodriguezArgentina - 8.0

I lived in Mar del Plata for almost 10 years until I moved out. It's a wonderful city, with nice beaches and a good range of options for activities to do. I'd say it's one of the most popular places to go for vacations during summer. Probably the reason behind it it's the history and its short distance to Buenos Aires. It has the perfect blend between a big city, and nature. If you are thinking to go to the city just because of the beach and nothing else, then I'd suggest to look for a less crowded and cheaper option, which will probably has a better beach as well, like Necochea.Guest review byJulioUnited Kingdom - 8.0
It's a cute, layback, friendly town.
It's a cute, layback, friendly town. Luckily not much foreign tourists and not a big nightlife, but very homey place. Lots of green, flowering trees and flowering bushes. Town is surrounded by small hills with great views. El Centinela is a huge boulder standing on its narrow base, Cerro Movediza has a climbing trail to the top, there is Don Quijote, Sancho Panza and a fake windmill overlooking the town and a dammed lake. Going farther would require some transportation other than walking around. There is a tourist map with a number of points of interests of different types, it is great to plan sightseeing.Guest review byGyörgyHungary - 8.0

Like at Home Ezeiza was a comfortable and pleasant place to stay for a night. We were served an excellent homemade dinner. It is conveniently located close to the airport as we had an early morning flight the next day. They even gave us a ride to the airport, which was very appreciative.Guest review byKristiUnited States - 10.0
Mar del Plata is Argentina's premiere beach resort city.
Mar del Plata is Argentina's premiere beach resort city. Besides its road along the coast that offers wonderful views, it has lots of good restaurants, a world-famous casino, many beaches, a walking sidewalk that runs along the coast, etc. The best times to visit are during the Southern Hemisphere spring and summer months but get a little crowded in the months of December and January. The worst months are the winter months when it is cold.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 10.0
The best place on the province. The people is the nicest.
The best place on the province. The people is the nicest. There are sooo many places to visit in the city! You never get bored. You can go cycling, trailing, running and the best part is that you can do any of those 24/7. This is a safe city. There are events all times of the year, like theatre, music concerts, fairs, games for childer EVERYWHERE. I love it and recommend everyone to visit Tandil.Guest review byJulietaArgentina
