If you’re visiting General Roca , Rio Negro Arg. This is the Hotel for your stay . We stayed for one night attending to a family birthday and everything was perfect . We book a de luxe double room with a small fridge , the bed was so comfy , exterior view to the garden , plenty of light. You need a car to move around . Excepcional staff , good breakfast not to much choices but was ok . I highly recommended Bait Hotel . Parking with not extra charge

The lake and mountain views from our large balcony were outstanding. The room was large with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom with a rain showerhead and nice amenities. The hotel is just a 10-minute walk into the main tourist areas, with several bus stops along the way. Many restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel breakfast included scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, desserts, teas, and lots of great fruit. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Bariloche is a beautiful place. The surrounding areas are magnificent in terms of scenery and atmosphere. There are many activities to do around the town and nearby like skiing, snowboarding, cable cars, chairlifts etc. The town is renowned for its many chocolate shops and vast variety of different chocolates.

Las Grutas has the potential to be a prime location, although some of the private investment is not matched by public expenditure. It offers you unique experiences, like scuba diving (even it you just want to try and are not certified), marine life sightings (visit Cota Cero for that) and quite busy beaches. There are some fine dinning, many decent places and the pedestrian street is busy at nights. For proper dinning, get a reservation at Del Azul and enjoy primer cooking. From the same chef, you also have dinning at the Septima Bajada, where you can have lunch or dinner by the sea. If you are alone, going to Rubi at night can be good fun

    Nice mid-size city.

Nice mid-size city. Lots of things to explore around from wineries to paleontology exploration sites like the Dino Project, a very interesting tour that lasts aroun three hours but allows the visitors to learn first hand about findings in the region and the research that is behind them. Also, locations like the Red Moon Valley that offers quite a view to the visitors.

The town itself is fine, with a wealth of chocolate shops and touristy shopping. The reason you have to go there, though, is the stunningly beautiful nature near the town. The landscape with its lakes, islands, and mountains is among the most beautiful I've ever seen.

We booked the most expensive room with jacuzzi to be on a second floor with the ocean view. When we arrived, the front desk told us the second-floor room air conditioner does not work. The price which we did booking was completely different. Never ever booked any room unless maybe in a second floor. On front the hotel gravel road every car passing buy on front of your balcony bringing dust inside the room, all your suitcases, everything cover with dust from the road. The breakfast was a joke. You cannot do smaller and thinner white bread for toast. The Jacuzzi did not work. No plaque to stop the water, the jets did not work. They do not have a regular blanket. The blankets in any airline much better. No automatic lights in a hallway. You need to remember to turn the switch on before you will start to walk to your room other ways you will not find your room in a dark. The room key like a cheapest closet room key. The safety box did not work. I would not recommend staying there. If we would know we would be continuous to drive to Madril. We stay in Madril for the same price in a beautiful hotel with a view.

The town and Bariloche and the surrounding area are real worth the trip. The circuit of the 7 lakes, with the amazing vistas at every step, the many waterfalls and hiking trails, the lake beaches, the wildflowers, you could stay in the area for months and not get bored if you love the outdoors. And even if you're not the most avid outdoors person here you can become one. Don't need to think much about where to go, just pick a place, cause you won't be disappointed :) The food is good, the chocolate and ice cream amazing, and people are nice and welcoming. Be careful when driving though, there are many speed restrictions in the town and even outside, and it's easy to get a speeding ticket (fortunately we were warned as soon as we got there). And on the winding roads in the mountains there could be cows or horses walking freely. So be mindful of your surroundings and pay attention to the speed limit.
