Everything! It is an absolutely beautiful place in a peaceful location. The rooms are amazing, the view is great and the food and drinks are also amazing! We can just recommend it to anyone who wants to have an amazing time in Austria - either in summer or in winter, it is always beautiful and great.

The hotel had plenty of parking right in front of the hotel which made unpacking easy. We were traveling with a dog and they were very accommodating even offering to let the dog into a part of the dining room. Our room was spectacular with a great view and lots of storage space. I don't like to live out of a suitcase, so was pleasantly surprised at the amount of hangers and hooks. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety and my favorite parts were the delicious types of homemade bread and the fact that they had a cappuccino machine AND filtered coffee - the best of both worlds. The spa area was super clean, the water temperature was perfect, there were plenty of bath and sauna towels and they were always refilling the drinks in the pool/spa area. All in all we noticed that they go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. Highly recommend!

We loved everything about our stay. The location was perfect and a pleasant surprise when we went out on our balcony to see the chairlift for Steinbock Alm right there. This was perfect since we had an appointment there. Walking distance.

We were only at Hotel Horlgut for one night. Had a great large shower and enjoyed having a balcony. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. Be sure and check out the church; it is beautiful inside. Also, it had snowed recently and the mountains surrounding the town are absolutely breathtaking.

Large rooms (I had a balcony and mountain view), comfortable bathroom, shower with good water pressure. Very friendly staff. Good wifi. Very tasty cuisine, both for breakfast and dinner, there is also ample choice of hot and cold dishes for the afternoon "snack" so it's more full board than half board (afternoon meal was 14:30-16:30 so you could use it if you finished skiing a bit earlier), also non-alcoholic drinks are complimentary with all meals. Pools were nice (outdoor one is small but it's nice to be able to swim outside in winter and water temperature was good for me), sauna area was large enough, perhaps I would appreciate more opportunities for cooling down. Overall I had a great stay, there was nothing to complain about and I would recommend this place.

Great to get a summer pass that included free bus travel to...

Great to get a summer pass that included free bus travel to various local hikes/cable cars and the lifts were free also with the pass, like the bus service. It was great not to use our car. The twon is cute and clean. A little small.

The hotel is great.

The hotel is great. Located quite high and therefore needs some time to drive up the mountain. Not much to do around the hotel itself, but the facilities in it offer a relaxed evening indoors. In winter with snowy roads, one need tire chains for your car to get up there.

Beautiful surroundings. A great place for summer hiking. With the Hockönig card you receive at the hotel's reception, you can use all the cable cars in the area, enjoy the beautiful views, savour the local cuisine, and get some exercise. There are trails for every level of ability. I would love to come back in winter.

Maria Alm, shall be connected with other Ski areas in the region - the skipass Hochkoenig is more expensive and offers nothing spectacular apart of the fact that you can also use the ski areas 150 km away (but who cares ???) I was very dissapointed that Saalbach / Hinterglem / Leogang and Maria alm are so close but you have to buy separate skipasses . That is nothing you expect. In my opinion it is a big a disadvantage. All the rest ok

Different activities are possible near the apartment. With the hochköningcard it ia possible to take different lifts into the mountains. Even in different villages. With the card you can get discount on different activities. Naar the apartment the is a supermarket and a bakery.
