It’s a very comfortable room and we had a double aspect and balcony which was lovely to admire the view of the mountains. The staff were exceptional in making our stay with them the best it could be. The food is exceptional and I highly encourage booking half board as you will not regret it. The breakfast is varied for all diets and the quality of ingredients is extremely good. If staying for dinner you will get a menu at breakfast for dinner with 4 choices of main dinner. The choice of buffet starter is delicious and then there is always a soup choice too. I absolutely loved the soups such as tomato consommé. Then the main dinners and desserts are excellent, I honestly cannot speak highly enough about how great the restaurant is, the creativity of the dishes, flavours and presentation are exceptional. Dishes such as the dessert of lingonberry pancakes with sour ice and local wild blueberries had us talking how delicious it was several times the next day! Then other thoughtful touches like a daily MorganPost newsletter giving weather predictions, hiking routes and things to do as well as offers from the spa were really appreciated. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel. The quality of everything from the amenities, the cleanliness, the staff and restaurant are excellent. We had to leave to get our flight before breakfast started and this came up just by chance in a conversation and we were immediately invited to the restaurant thirty minutes early so as not to miss out on breakfast before our journey. Loved walking the Parish Trail (Pfarrerbichl) with scenic views of the town and lake (and religious interest if so inclined). Nanni’s had a delicious goulash & apple strudel; Cafe Nouveau had a spicier goulash, even better! Batzenhäus had great local food. Pertisau is the location for the (fictional) Chalet School (the first book, The School at the Chalet, was published 100 years ago in 1925), so anyone who has read the books will find it instantly recognisable, even today. Even without that link, the Achensee is a wonderful base in which to spend time in the Austrian alps, with plenty to do and see in summer. There are fantastic walks in the area and hotels and guesthouses offer a free travel card which can be upgraded for less than 100 euros to a week-long holiday card offering free travel on the ferries, cable cars and the famous Achenseebahn, as well as free entries to the local museums in Pertisau, Achenkirche and Maurach.Guest review byShirleyUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Have been is Seefeld 3 times until now, twice in winter and once is summer. Excellent place for vacation or short stay. Hotels and facilities are modern, mainly built in 1960's for Innsbruck Olympics. Seefeld has cross-country skiing and big warm open pool if compare to other surrounding resorts. A full range of Alpine experience, from hiking to train rides through the countryside. Built on a plateau, everywhere is within easy walking distance, and there are e-bikes to rent for a day. Village and mountan hostelries offer a wide range of eating experience and plenty of opportunity to enjoy traditional Austrian dishes, including an exquisite Applestrudel. The village is steeped in history, yet maintains a modern feel in shops. Most of the village centre is pedestrianised, offering stress-free ambles while samping the village ambience. During a 4-day stay, we were treated to a public rendition from a brass band, and wandered the Tuesday morning market full of local fare.
