Surrounded by a beautiful mountain landscape with unspoilt nature and clear air, Alpengasthof Hörnlepass in Vorarlberg's Kleinwalsertal valley is a small paradise at 1,200 metres above sea level. This is definitely a place we loved. It is a gem for people that are highly sensitive like me. The rooms are very quiet, in the restaurant the acoustics are good so that your senses are not completely overwhelmed after a meal. We really enjoyed breakfast and the buffet on Saturday evening. The hotel is family-run and the staff is very friendly in a way that feels very natural.

Herzen's Landhaus - Hotel Garni enjoys a central but quiet location in Hirschegg offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Free WiFi is provided. The owner was super friendly and gave us lots of good information about where we can go for exploring and hiking. Also, the guest card was provided with which we could go around the nearby towns for free on bus as well as cable cars to go up on the mountains were all free. The breakfast was well provided and the sauna downstairs were great to use at the end of the tiring walking day. The mountain view from the balcony was exceptional too! We are definitely coming back, especially for the ski season.

Opening in December 2014 after extensive renovations, Boutique Hotel Herzhof - Garni-Appartements - Adults Onlyin Riezlern in the Kleinwalsertal Valley offers panoramic mountain views, a gourmet... Breakfast was amazing (the homemade orange marmalade was so delicious we bought a jar), the staff is very friendly and helpful, the wellness area is clean and beautifully designed, the fitness room is small but well-equipped (even had a punching bag!). My favorite part was the yard outside - so well-kept, with a beautiful little fresh-water pond that you can swim in. The sound of the water cascade, the waterlilies, and the gorgeous mountains in the background made it very relaxing and perfect for a morning meditation or a lazy afternoon rest. There are also basket swings overlooking the whole scenery. Lots of hiking around, and the hotel provides great trail recommendations. The bathroom had all the necessary toiletries, and the bathrobes were cozy. There was a mini fridge and 4K TV, patio and sun chairs.

Excellent hotel located in wonderful place. To my mind the main hotel attraction is restaurant (if you booked with half board). During our 4 day stay every day was new menu. Maybe you'll forget hotel, but restaurant will remember for long time.

The view of the room was spectacular. The room itself was big and comfortable. The personal were very friendly. The location is very good. There are bus stations close to the hotel and with the guest card you can reach all other attractions in the region easily. There are super market, cafes, bakery and restaurants within walking distances of less than 1 min.

Walking in the door a little early, we were warmly welcomed by the staff at the front desk and offered something to drink: a glass of sekt, some juice or water. We were checked in and told about the hotel. We had a family room that was perfect for our needs. Separate bedroom, plus an outer room with sofa bed. Beautiful view from the balcony. Our days started with a wonderful breakfast. Great variety of food and nice service. If you are there for skiing, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Plenty of places to eat in town, but these days, be sure to get a reservation early. The pool was very nice and the view from the pool area was magnificent! Very nice sauna area with one sauna for families (great for kids and those who might be a little more modest) and a super sauna area for adults, with about 6 types of saunas to choose from. Already looking forward to our next visit! Definitely want to be repeat customers.
