Great recently renovated modern facility. The room was extremely comfortable, great bed, excellent modern bathroom amenities. Martin, the owner was extremely friendly, helpful and had a great sense of humor. He spoke perfect English and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent with great choices and very reasonable prices. Wonderful breakfast as well. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we were ever in that area gain. Thank you Martin.

El Hotel Bergmahd se encuentra en Steeg y ofrece alojamiento de 3 estrellas con restaurante y jardín. A nice family hotel, run by an adorable grandma, her husband and their son. They all very nice and kind. The room was quite large, with a terrace. There were horses and cows in the neighbouring buildings, we could pet them. It was quite interesting for us (from the city). There was a separate room for the ski boots, with a ski-boot-drier, so we got fresh and warm skiboots every morning. The breakfast was delicious, the grandma asked me the first day how I like my coffee, and I got my coffee every morning the same way, she remembered that. You can eat lunch and dinner (supper) there if you like. The prices are good, and they always have something special.

We had a lovely suite. The "master" bed was in a large room with a generously proportioned sitting area that had a table and chairs, a comfortable sofa and coffee table, and its own tv. There was also a spacious balcony. The "extra" bed was in its own little room, decorated to appeal to children (with cute little animal curtains) and a window that opened onto the forest. Our south-facing balcony offered the most gorgeous views of the Alps. The staff was friendly and directed us to a lovely walk alongside the Lech River. The 3 course meal was served on the patio with stunning views of the local mountain ranges.

Rene and Joyce were excellent hosts, couldn't do enough for you. Rene is an exceptional chef and the food was delicious. The bedroom overlooked the mountains and had a wonderful sunrise. We were made to feel at home and will definitely be back to our new friends. Exceptional stat and very sad to leave.

I liked everything on my stay. I stayed with my sister during summer season. The place is calm and with beautiful views! The hosts are amazing and so attentive to our every need, they made our stay super memorable. The hosts have great attention to detail and cleanness. The food is fantastic and we had dinner at the hotel everyday. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom seems to be recently renovated. The hiking trails in the region were also super good, you have easy and family friendly ones to the most difficult hiking around the peaks in the border with Germany. Fantastic!

El Gasthof Bären está situado en las pistas de esquí, a 50 metros de los remontes de la estación de esquí Holzgau/Gföllberglift. location, quality of restaurant, balcony for room, bathroom was superb, hotel staff was extremely helpful and professional. would recommend to others with no hesitation.
