- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 105 reviewsBeautiful place, an old farm house with renovated houses in quiet location, with very nice surroundings. Stylish and comfortable apartment with everything what we needed. Our kids enjoyed company of Leo, Fritz and Ferdinand, 3 goats. Groceries shop is nearby, within walking distance. Restaurant is close. For skiing, Hochkar is around 15-20min drive, depending on traffic but in the morning it was always good. Also 15min drive is Göstling an der Ybbs, there is swimming pool & sauna, where you can relax, also great for kids. Must be very nice to visit in summer, you can do rafting nearby, also organized by the owners.Guest review byFilipSlovakia

I was on my way to Croatia and manage to find this hotel at 7pm to stay over with my dog. Beautiful old church next door. Had a nice stroll in the village surrounded by beautiful mountains and in a nature reserve. Perfect stop for the night with my dog. Good dinner, great spread for breakfast.Guest review byEulindiUnited Kingdom

Admont is a beautiful tranquil town in Styria, Austria.
Admont is a beautiful tranquil town in Styria, Austria. It’s best known for its picturesque Benedictine Abbey and its opulent baroque library. The town is an excellent starting point for all nature and hiking lovers. In the vicinity of the town is a beautiful castle – Röthelstein with views on the town and abbey. Also the Gesäuse National Park is near the town.Guest review byGregorSlovenia - 10.0
If I had known how incredibly beautiful the area is, I would...
If I had known how incredibly beautiful the area is, I would have booked a longer stay. Due to our short stay, we only had the opportunity for one 4.5 hour walk on our full day in Gstatterboden. In hindsight, I would have stayed here at least 4 or 5 days so we could go on more walks and see more of this stunning area. We had our car with us, so getting around was easy; however, this would be difficult without a car. The dining room at the Lodge is only for breakfast, so travelers must either drive into Admont, Johnsbach, or make dinner in the hotel room or on a grill outside the hotel.Guest review byEllenUnited States
