- From $379.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 383 reviewsI'll start with the awesome location - quiet, inside the mountain, wonderful views everywhere you look, clear air, clean water. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and in the room there was a nice wardrobe with plenty of space for your luggage. The room was very well designed and equipped with attention to every single detail - well done! And now - last but not least - the staff was amazing - helpful, professional, friendly. If I can give 10 out of 10 for the hotel, the staff that works there added additional 10 on top of the overall rating - Thank you guys! Whoever is the manager in the hotel - you build awesome team - the staff you have is a real treasure! PS - for someone who's looking for the parking details - parking is underground with plenty of spaces (1 space for each room/accomodation) and plenty of space to maneuver with large SUVs. There are a lot of parking spaces with dedicated electrical charging station. There was even a dedicated space where you can leave your personal bicycle (if you bring your own bicycle).Guest review byIvayloBulgaria
- From $374.12 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 584 reviewsThis is the most gorgeous setting of all the hotels during my month long Europe vacation! The hotel is decorated perfectly for the beautiful mountain setting. The dinners and breakfasts were amazing, so glad we included them in our stay. It was nice after a day of hiking to know we didn't have to look for a place for dinner - our hotel had probably the best option around for miles! The staff was extremely helpful for hiking and adventure suggestions also.Guest review byJenniferUnited States

I loved the beauty of Innsbruck and the friendly, kind locals. There was a wine festival and the atmosphere was wonderful with local musicians dressed in Tyrolean outfits and playing delightful music. The shops were great with many beautiful, well-made things to buy. It was delightful to walk into the old town by the river and the water was a gorgeous teal colour. Also drinking water is very pure and does not have fluoride which was a bonus. I was so taken with Innsbruck that I can’t wait to return.Guest review bySandraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Loved walking the Parish Trail (Pfarrerbichl) with scenic views of the town and lake (and religious interest if so inclined). Nanni’s had a delicious goulash & apple strudel; Cafe Nouveau had a spicier goulash, even better! Batzenhäus had great local food. Several good grocery stores in town to use for picnic lunches on hikes.Easy train ride to Mittenwald (ride the Karwendelbahn!) or Innsbruck if the Rosshütte is not appealing to you.Guest review byMichaelUnited States - 10.0

The perfect Zillertal base — charming, active, and full of alpine character. Mayrhofen is a gem in the heart of the Zillertal Alps — both lively and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. My favorite spot in town was the central square with the iconic ibex statue and the beautiful alpine church, perfect for soaking in the mountain vibe. I enjoyed traditional Tyrolean meals at local guesthouses, and the hut-style restaurants in the surrounding mountains are worth the hike. Breakfast at my hotel was exceptional, and the Zillertal beer is a must-try after a long day outdoors. Getting around is easy — everything in town is walkable, and the Zillertalbahn train makes exploring the valley simple. For solo travelers like me, Mayrhofen is ideal: scenic hiking trails start right from town, there’s an excellent pool & spa complex (Erlebnisbad), and plenty of cafés and beer gardens to meet people or just relax. Whether you’re here for a few days or as a base for adventures like the Berliner Höhenweg, Mayrhofen delivers both comfort and authentic alpine atmosphere.Guest review byGeorg.AlAlbania - 10.0

Kitzbuhel is primarily a winter sports resort but also...
Kitzbuhel is primarily a winter sports resort but also attracts summer visitors. An evening band performance and afternoon childrens events in the Kurpark were welcome surprises as we had no prior knowledge they were taking place. The local (free) Tourist Card gives small price reductions on cable cars and some other attractions but, in stark contrast to neighbouring Salzburg Province, lacks rail and/or bus travel benefits. Kitzbuhel has two railway stations. We did not find a street map showing how to get to hotels at either, The rail station by the cable car is unstaffed. UK tourists were seen using the ticket machine to buy outward and return tickets, unaware that a group ticket (Einfach Raus) would have cost less. Kitzbuhel was one of 5 stops on a longer trip. It was not our favourite.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Great location for summer vacation, there is a lot going on with local summer fests. Great for hiking, the mountains are beautiful. You can easily get to Italy or Switzerland where there are further options for hiking. The area around Lago di Resia in Italy is also beautiful.Guest review byTomasCzech Republic - 10.0

Not sure Lienz is on traveller's radar. It's a must when travelling to Austria. Easy to get to by train from Germany and from within Austria. A small town easily navigated on foot. It's stunning. It was a shame the gondola was not operating though.Guest review byHelenAustralia - 10.0

nice town. Ideal base for early season hike (start of May) in Wilder Kaiser region. Most other places in vicinity are closed as main hiking season hasn't started yet. The local kaiserlift (chair lift) was open so takes you to start of good hikes..Guest review bymichaelIreland
