There are so many things to do here, it's an amazing place!
There are so many things to do here, it's an amazing place! Don't miss, Old Parliament House, New Parliament House, absolute MUST SEE, the ANZAC War Museum, which has just been renovated. I go every time I go to Canberra. I've been told that the zoo/accommodation place is really worth a visit, if only for a one off. Do the museum in town, do the cruise on Lake Burley Griffin and hear the Carillion and see the city from the water, which is always a different perspective. Try and get there for Floriade, it's amazing. Just wander through town and see all the sculptures, which abound. If you have any interest in art the National Gallery and Picture Gallery are virtually next door to one another, and there's hours of entertainment and visual pleasure to be experienced there, plus some very good food! The exhibitions are quite diverse and can be extraordinary, especially when they have a travelling exhibition from overseas, like the one I just saw from the Museum Berggruen in Germany that explored the art created by Cezanne, who changed the world of painting with his extraordinary concepts and who influenced a myriad of future and contemporary painters and artisans, both male and female, combined with and showing how extensive his influence was by showing art from other countries including Australia. Finishing with the extraordinary and exquisite sculptures of Giacometti, which was a fitting end to a very satisfying exhibition.Guest review byJeanAustralia - 8.0
The Kingston Foreshore is a great location.
The Kingston Foreshore is a great location. Lots of restaurants and cafes at your doorstep with easy access to many more Canberra landmarks. Walk up to the Kingston shops for the best supermarket in Canberra. Known locally as Super Superbarn.Guest review byJeremyAustralia - 10.0

Appartment was stunning, got to meet the owners who where just lovely people ( yes it got that bad the owners had to turn up to help sort this issue out ), gorgeous views of that side of the city. Look the apprtment was lovely and location was perfect.........if not for madecomfy and their lack of care or attention to fixing a very major issue......id have enjoyed ny stay, but being forced to sleep in a car or spend another $700+ on one nights accom after already spending $2k is disgusting. Still no offer to return a nights value from the price of the appartment or have i recived a return on the money I PAID OUT FOR THE LOCKSMITH!!!! Am contacting victoria consumer affairs today, this company is very dodgy and needs investigation.Guest review byadamnunanAustralia - 10.0

It's like any other newly built development area with many offices, but if you want modern facilities and several restaurants and shops, it might be practical to stay here. There seems to be convenient public transport to the tourist sites of Canberra.Guest review byKaoriFrance - 10.0

I liked most the security and privacy of the apartment, with the ready access to local town area facilities. The best service from the concierge desk, was the simplest method ever, for booking a taxi to get around the area. There are an absolute plethora of eateries from early morning through to late evenings. For a longer stay, the apartments are within a minutes walk for major grocery shopping and would be very simple to cook and prepare all own meals, if that was preferred.Guest review byCraig BurnettUnited States - 8.0

The location is great as it was a 10 to 15 minute walk to the shopping area and restaurants. The facility was very clean & comfortable. Secure underground carparking a bonus. Nice walking tracks at your front door and only a short drive to most of the Canberra attractionsGuest review byTraceyAustralia - 8.0

Weston Creek is a few kilometres' easy drive from Canberra's CBD, but closer to other attractions like Cotter Dam, Mt Stromlo, the Abortorium. There are shopping centres for mainly groceries close by.Guest review byLorraineAustralia - 10.0
There is always plenty to do and not enough time.
There is always plenty to do and not enough time. The National Library has regular displays and a good cafe. Currently a 1975 exhibit is worthwhile for a visit. The Botanical Gardens are very special and offer nice walking as does the Arboretum. Both have cafes. ON Sundays parking seems to be free at many galleries the Library and other significant places. Old Parliament House, now the Museum of Democracy is a favourite place of ours. School age children especially love Questacon which is a wonderful asset for them to visit.Guest review bySusanAustralia - 10.0
Great location and a beautiful space to stay in.
Great location and a beautiful space to stay in. Was there for a week with work? It was lovely to come home to a nice garden Century and a quiet space. Excellent with car park facility just right below the apartment and restaurants and cafes not far at all. Will definitely come back and book her again.Guest review bylakhanaAustralia - 2.0
A NIGHTMARE to locate key at an out-of-town address,...
A NIGHTMARE to locate key at an out-of-town address, realising this to be the case only after a lovely local recognised a photo on the email. DITTO to locate which floor when eventually accessing the key. Parking is free HOWEVER it is in a different Tower block & no information as to which floor this was located on either. Regular nightly EVACUATIONS (22nd floor is a long way to clamber down the stairwell.) The locals are beautiful & ever-so helpful with their assistance. The view across the lake & surrounding area from the 22nd floor is amazing.Guest review byMaureenAustralia
