- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,162 reviewsThe unit was well equipped, there was everything you need in the kitchen and the washing machine and dryer are a great asset! The unit is in a great location with a lovely view, access to the beach and a great walkway across the road and many restaurants within walking distance. Very clean and comfortable.Guest review byDanielleAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 380 reviewsI went here to propose to my now fiance and the staff and services were exceptional. They were very kind and helpful, told me the best places to take my fiance during the trip and provided a candlelit dinner and bottle of champagne. If I ever wanted to travel back to Fraser, I would use this resort again.Guest review byHenryAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 281 reviewsExtremely friendly staff. Very comfortable accommodation. Very spacious house. The cooking stove and oven are a bit old and not too user-friendly. No AC in the house may be a bit hot during the height of summer with a few hot days. Each room had a ceiling fan.Guest review byGormanAustralia

Few minor cleanliness issues but the great out weighed the bad 10 to 1. Over all not quite perfect but I did look a little to hard to find fault. 99.9999% out of a 100%... It truly was beautiful.Guest review bySandersAustralia

Has everything you need for a relaxing holiday or if you prefer to be busy there is plenty to see and do. I must recommend a whale watching cruise we've been twice with 'whale song' they are excellent and the whales were magnificent.Guest review byBarker - 10.0
So much history in Maryborough.
So much history in Maryborough. The military museum is one of the best in Australia. The Gallipoli trail is a must. The river is lovely and the town is peaceful but has everything you want for a few days to see all the history.Guest review byHeinrichAustralia - 8.0

Loved our time on Fraser island ...took a beauty points all day tour which was informative and really enjoyable. ... also was able to take advantage of a flight from the beach over lake Mckenzie and the ocean edge.. saw many whales.. truly amazing! .Extended our stay to 6 nights.. great walks from the resort...our breakfast was included and was a very tasty hot buffet with many options... would definitely recommend Fraser island as a few days getaway.. only negative was the rooms weren't obviously soundproof and the people above us were a bit noisy at timesGuest review byRhonda - 2.0

The seafood was excellent that we purchased from the fisheries. Fresh off the boat. Hervey Bay is very humid this time of year. I was there for my brothers funeral. So I will not be staying at Mantra agin. I will choose somewhere much quieter.Guest review bylynAustralia - 10.0
Love Burrum, love the river & the beach.
Love Burrum, love the river & the beach. Great fishing. during the day the facilities are good. The only issue is the lack of a restaurant, or eating facilities at night. Love that the pub has a courtesy bus, but food choice is very limited, & no entertainment. The bowls club was closed on a Sunday night, so the only choice was the pub. Food was good, but pricey & not much variety.Guest review byStainer - 8.0
Clean and confortable with central location.
Clean and confortable with central location. Picked the Station Hotel for dinner and it was nice food (pub style food) and staff welcoming. Do accept small to mdium dogs which was nice (we have one but not on this trip). Outdoor amenities include outdoor kitchen and pool area. Kitchen location wasn't the best and looked like you would need to open it all up for guests rather than being readily available to quests. But it looked really usable. Pool area was less than inviting and looked uncared for. We stayed a night so really good for that. But for a longer term stay the amentities may be lees then you were expecting.Guest review byKymAustralia - 8.0

the area was quiet and relaxing, fishing was great, loved throwing a line in from the front lawn, the home was 4 bedrooom, but only 3 available, we could have done with another double bed, the owners could maybe take over the 2nd tv room as we didnt use it, the home was advertised as airconditioned but this was only in the living area not in the bedrooms .the bedrooms would possibly be hot in summer.Guest review byAmanda - 10.0

Nice little place for a relaxing few days, people and dog friendly. Great walking paths along the beaches and surrounding areas. Not a big shopping area but enough to get by for a couple of days. There are other bigger shopping centres only minutes drive away.Guest review bygaryAustralia - 10.0

Every 3rd Sunday of the month, they hold a Open Mic, myself being musical, actually went for this reason. Beautiful friendly people. Take your time, meandering through the country roads, little towns of Gunalda, Theebine, Curra to explore on your way. The drive was as much of my adventure, as my destination to the music.Guest review byRichards - 10.0

Our stay at this charming retreat was nothing short of magical! From the moment we booked, the legendary host, Marilyn, showered us with warmth and care, ensuring every detail was meticulously arranged. Though we didn't have the pleasure of meeting Marilyn in person, her presence was felt in every corner of the impeccably maintained property, reflecting her heart and soul. Jane, her delightful neighbour, stepped in seamlessly, ensuring our comfort and happiness throughout our stay. The cleanliness and attention to detail exceeded our wildest expectations, making this experience unforgettable. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Jane for her kindness and hospitality, which added an extra layer of joy to our stay. We cannot wait to return and bask again in the love and kindness permeating this sanctuary.Guest review bySamAustralia
