- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 636 reviewsLoved sleeping under the Koalas. Takes searching the trees a bit but saw 5-6 koalas ( one with a baby) in the trees. Mating season and heard the low growl (?) of the males. Saw a wallaby next to the road coming in. Great cabin ( with bath), comfortable bed, couch, TV, heater, kitchenette. Also has heating blankets & porch. Very, very nice. Would have liked to stay more than 1 night but had to move on.Guest review byMaryUnited States

I really loved looking out for whales, and our gorgeous hot springs visit on our winter trip. The hot springs were a little crowded though - less people per session would really have helped me relax more.Guest review byTatianaAustralia - 10.0
A good stopping point on a trip along the Great Ocean Road.
A good stopping point on a trip along the Great Ocean Road. Not as expensive, pretentious or busy in winter as Lorne is. Great fish and chips at the Fishman's Co-op., which was not too busy in winter but would be very hectic in summer of holiday periods. This is an attractive seaside town with good facilities and choice of food establishments. Worth a visit.Guest review byMrs PicklesAustralia - 10.0
I enjoyed the stay at the Sea Foam Villas.
I enjoyed the stay at the Sea Foam Villas. The convenience store manager was very friendly and helpful. Some of the other stores could be a bit more welcoming and friendly. Great place on the Great Ocean Road.Guest review bySenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I love Lorne in all seasons.
I love Lorne in all seasons. The beach is great in warmer months and the forests are great all year round. Plenty of walks, lots of good cafes and restaurants, the newly renovated Grand Pacific Hotel is insane. It's a sleepy town in Winter, but I like that very much - it's so cosy, lots of places have fireplaces. I love Lorne.Guest review byMelsAustralia - 10.0
love Torquay.
love Torquay. It's not only a surfer's paradise, it's also a fabulous getaway... Beach is peaceful and clean, plenty of cafes and restaurants - (especially loved Salty Dog Cafe, iL Matto Italian Restaurant and Squires Loft)... It's also dog friendly which is a major bonus...Guest review byKerriAustralia - 10.0
Port Fairy is such a lovely town to visit.
Port Fairy is such a lovely town to visit. Enjoy a stroll along the boardwalk with all the impressive boats and a peaceful nature walk to the lighthouse and beaches. A variety of shops, bakeries, pubs and beautiful old buildings make it a great place to visit.Guest review byJanetAustralia - 10.0

We had a relaxing family holiday at Anglesea. The location of the holiday park right next to the beach and river meant we barely had to get in the car. It’s an excellent location for kids with many different activities. The beds in the cabins were so comfortable too!Guest review bySarahAustralia - 8.0

It was a lovely quiet place with good clean comfortable accommodation. Our hosts looked after us very well . We had a good choice for breakfast. The only downside was after a day’s travel there was no where near to go to eat .Guest review byRogerUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Love the holiday feel of Aireys and the facilities like the lighthouse, viewing spots and the café there, and track walks there and the pub. Village cafes and store perfect and the market in school grounds was superb! Everyone very friendly.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This was one of the most beautiful and unusual locations I have stayed in. You won't find modern conveniences, which would ruin the authenticity of the experience. The beds are wonderful, the bathroom beautiful and the scenery is outstanding. If you have an artistic soul this property is for you. There are plenty of DVD's and games but the true entertainment is the surroundings, the serenity and the quiet. Don't miss the opportunity to remove yourself from the modern world and enjoy the views.Guest review bySamantha
