The place is so beautifully decorated. The fittings were luxurious, and it's very spacious and comfortable. Some may not like the open toilet concept, but it shouldn't be too much of an issue if you are travelling with your spouse/partner. The bathtub was huge and comfortable after a cold rainy day out exploring, and the bed was super comfortable. We loved the breakfast! Not a lot of selection but enough to keep you full and everything was delicious and homely.

Instructions from the owner were very complete and helpful. Room was beautifully appointed and comfortable. Lovely linens and bathrobe, cute galley kitchen, fabulous bathroom. Melting moments (biscuits) were delicious! Very close to downtown shops and restaurants.

Everything!! Beautifully decorated thoughtfully done. We also had evening meal which was exquisite.

The staff were great! Friendly, helpful with suggestions about restaurants and places to see on the Great Ocean Road. The breakfast was well done and a treat for us. Our suite was very clean and overall we would recommend Captains at the Bay as the place to stay in Apollo Bay.

The staff went over and above and were incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a mixup when I arrived so I was upgraded and stayed in a beautiful suite. Everybody was so friendly and helpful and Mark, who works at the golf course, took me on a tour in the morning to see kangaroos! The pillows was so comfortable which is quite rare in hotels these days! That is a stunning walk to do along the beach. The salty sea dog is a Fantastic Café full of happy dogs and it absolutely made my morning .

Loved the clean, white decor - the shower was amazing. I also love that support small, local businesses and artists. The little details in my room really showed that. Especially loved the bath products made in nearby Bells Beach. Wish I had more time to visit the spa! The services looked incredible!

Pool was very family friendly. The Restaurant was open for brekky and coffees each morning. The reception also had facility to order coffees at any time which was super convenient and great. The 3-bedroom suite was very spacious, tidy and had everything we needed.

The room was spacious and clean. The location was not so convenient to the main street but easily to the beach. Hot spring needs to pay separately, but it was nice.
