This is a very nice and convenient place to stay while visiting some of the Great Ocean Road sights. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was good. There were nice extras available, like a restaurant and spa. The grounds were pleasantly landscaped.

The property had all the amenities that a person could ask for if you are traveling as a tourist. We were making our own breakfasts and picnic lunches on the road and having all three tools to do so was important for us

Love the marina and seafood restaurant on the pier.

Love the marina and seafood restaurant on the pier. Lots of walking tracks and the 12 Apostles. Coastal views are amazing . Love the Chinese,Japanese restaurants. Dog friendly town and love that the mountains reach the sea.

I love Lorne in all seasons.

I love Lorne in all seasons. The beach is great in warmer months and the forests are great all year round. Plenty of walks, lots of good cafes and restaurants, the newly renovated Grand Pacific Hotel is insane. It's a sleepy town in Winter, but I like that very much - it's so cosy, lots of places have fireplaces. I love Lorne.

We had a relaxing family holiday at Anglesea. The location of the holiday park right next to the beach and river meant we barely had to get in the car. It’s an excellent location for kids with many different activities. The beds in the cabins were so comfortable too!

It was a lovely quiet place with good clean comfortable accommodation. Our hosts looked after us very well . We had a good choice for breakfast. The only downside was after a day’s travel there was no where near to go to eat .

Love the holiday feel of Aireys and the facilities like the lighthouse, viewing spots and the café there, and track walks there and the pub. Village cafes and store perfect and the market in school grounds was superb! Everyone very friendly.

This was one of the most beautiful and unusual locations I have stayed in. You won't find modern conveniences, which would ruin the authenticity of the experience. The beds are wonderful, the bathroom beautiful and the scenery is outstanding. If you have an artistic soul this property is for you. There are plenty of DVD's and games but the true entertainment is the surroundings, the serenity and the quiet. Don't miss the opportunity to remove yourself from the modern world and enjoy the views.

The house was exactly as described but being there made it even better!! The views were amazing and sitting out on the deck having a few drinks we experienced the bird life in the area. The bedrooms were spacious and they all have their own bathrooms which was fantastic. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you need for the few days we had. Our family really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend this house as a home away from home. We would stay here again if we are in the area. We visited the waterfalls in the area and a must see. We went to Live Wire park which was great only down side is it is a bit expensive. Apollo Bay and Lorne are about 20 minutes away in each direction, so you need to be prepared to bring all your needs with you, but this is exactly what we wanted family time away. Excellent place to stay for large family groups, couples and friends looking for a break.

Stunning location, spotless facilities, and genuinely pet friendly – highly recommend! We stayed at Forrest Holiday Park for a weekend event in a two-bedroom cabin and were blown away by the peaceful setting, modern and well equipped and extremely clean accommodation and park facilities, and accommodating staff. Even with a last-minute change on the day of arrival that meant bringing our two greyhounds, staff were helpful and reassuring - organising everything with ease and no fuss. The small pet fee was incredibly reasonable and made our trip more enjoyable and stress-free. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the area – with the hounds in tow!

A small, well-kept village that caters well for tourists.

A small, well-kept village that caters well for tourists. It is on the Beech Forest rail trail, a well-maintained feature. We arrived just after the Golden Gumboot event when the gumboots were still displayed on the trees but were removed promptly. The only local facility we visited was the general store, that also functions as the local post office, and a cafe and gift shop. It is run by a very pleasant young lady with excellent local knowledge. She is also a good cook - our lunch was plentiful, delicious and nutritious. with off road parking and seating.
