I live in WA, nearly 2 hours south of Perth so I may be biased. Perth is a great getaway for retired couples, groups who are seeking views, beaches, nature walks, bird watching, spring flowers, romantic walks along the river, river cruises, boating, fishing, camping, cafes, restaurants and pubs. We also have a casino. I wouldn't be coming here for extreme adventure (go up north to Karrijini) or fantastic nightlife (Eastern states). Wonderful place to stay, relax, try wonderful restaurants and local venues. We stay in Freo to indulge at wonderful restaurants and we are never disappointed. For local places to go to, try something different, try Darling Darling, a cute little bar on Henry St, or the roof top bar (try the delicious tapas lunch options) at the National Hotel on High St. Awesome.Guest review byrobert - 10.0
Mandurah is a great town.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and cabin has everything you need. Nice and quiet and permanent residences were friendly too. All round very pleasant stay and Caversham area has nice wineries and still close to other attractions. Our favourite place for a good feed with a relaxing atmosphere is a Tavern called “Down the Road” which is just a stone throw away from the park.Guest review byClaudetteAustralia
