I had to stay close to Dandenong Hospital.
I had to stay close to Dandenong Hospital. The location was perfect for that and there were shops within walking distance. I enjoyed the Dandenong Marketplace which was close. I would not recommend walking around Dandenong after dark. I made sure I was back at the hotel before dark for safety as there were some shady characters around the area. Nice district. We were there mainly to visit our children studying on Monash University. There are lots of affordable serviced apartments for visitors to Clayton North. The view from the room and pool were definitely a highlight of my stay. The room quality, facilities and cleanliness were immaculate. The pictures online are very accurate as to what you receive upon your stay at Hotel Chadstone. Chadstone shopping centre is extremely accessible from the hotel and has a variety of different food, shopping and activity options. I highly recommend any of the Funlab(strike) experiences like Holey Moley, Hijinx, Strike Bowling and Archie Brothers for a late night drink and activities.
