I don't know what room fragrance they used in the reception area but it smelled amazing. The location of the hotel was great, within walking distance of many places we needed to go to. The self check-in has a credit card fee, to avoid paying this if you're using a debit card you will need to make the payment at the reception desk. The staff were very helpful and happy to do this for me. Also, they have a station where you can hire a phone charging powerbank if your phone is at risk of it's battery dying while you're out and about. This was very helpful for me and my traveling partner. The rate is $7.50 per hour with a maximum daily charge of $25. This was quite reasonable in my opinion.Guest review byNatashaAustralia

Next to Victoria market and close to other restaurants and Woolworth metro. Lobby is nice and spacious too. Got nice place to put luggage after checkout too. I had to stay close to Dandenong Hospital. The location was perfect for that and there were shops within walking distance. I enjoyed the Dandenong Marketplace which was close. I would not recommend walking around Dandenong after dark. I made sure I was back at the hotel before dark for safety as there were some shady characters around the area. The only thing I would add is if there was access to a washing machine for a longer stay - like a 2 week visit I would definitely neeed to wash my clothes - but thats seriously the only thing!! Nice district. We were there mainly to visit our children studying on Monash University. There are lots of affordable serviced apartments for visitors to Clayton North. The view from the room and pool were definitely a highlight of my stay. The room quality, facilities and cleanliness were immaculate. The pictures online are very accurate as to what you receive upon your stay at Hotel Chadstone. Chadstone shopping centre is extremely accessible from the hotel and has a variety of different food, shopping and activity options. I highly recommend any of the Funlab(strike) experiences like Holey Moley, Hijinx, Strike Bowling and Archie Brothers for a late night drink and activities.
