A really fabulous location to enjoy the best of beach life and water activities.....kayaking, fishing etc. Very relaxed atmosphere and plenty of places to choose from for meals. Be prepared for the fact that the breakfast is in a cafe attached to the Hotel, there is no buffet breakfast. The Cafe is very pleasant, overlooking the water. Scarborough is the prettiest part of the Redcliffe Peninsular. Beautiful beach aspect looking out to Moreton Island and further around, views across to glass House Mountains. Great coffee and restaurants in shopping area. The beach is so beautiful, it goes on for miles and is amazing to walk along. I love the relaxing vibe of Woorim, even though there are less shops and eateries, it is only a 10 minute drive to the busier side of the island. I visited Pigface Seafood and Mokha Cafe and both were brilliant. Unfortunately did not get time to try the Surf Club or the Hotel but both looked nice. Stayed at the caravan park years ago and it looks just as lovely as it ever was. I assume it would be much busier in the summer months, but it was very quiet and relaxing early September.
