Our stay in Rye was wonderful.

Our stay in Rye was wonderful. Home is beautiful & extremely comfortable. Great location to visit wineries, Mornington & Sorrento. Walking distance to the beach. This was our second time staying at Capel Sound, it was a fantastic short break away.

While staying at Rosebud it's within reasonable distance to many interesting places. Nothing is more than an 30 minute drive. Sorrento is really nice with good shopping and eating options and of course the beach. Red Hill is good with it's choices of wineries to experience. We really enjoyed The Green Olive winery, beautiful grounds and family friendly. We ate at the Rosebud Hotel, always good value and plenty to chose from. Another night we went to Nora's restaurant in Rye. Only a short drive and the pasta was amazing.

The room was big with great facilities and nice view. I would've liked a mini bar and a radio, other than that everything was good. Rooms are private bur can hear next door when sitting on the balcony. Not too far to walk to the lovely restaurant which was superb and has great staff. Location is perfect when visiting the spas and wineries

The Keith Motel is a newly renovated little gem located in the heart of Rye, with direct access to the beach across the road. The bed was comfy, the room was super clean and the service was brilliant. Stayed on a warm day and the room temperature was just right. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. My only bit of feedback is the rooms could use some sound proofing from outside noise, you coule hear the cars on the road like the windows were open.

We were given an old dated villa with slippery outdoor tiles and I had a terrible fall which destroyed our celebratory holiday. Staff showed no care or concern. I would never stay here again. Imagine many book thinking they are in the main hotel and then put in different accommodation older and far from main resort. Very deceiving when booking online. Overall a huge disappointment and we could have gone anywhere in Australia. Highly recommend you clarify what you’ve booked to avoid disappointment upon arrival. Asked for at least one nights refund or swap to main resort. Neither occurred. Very poor customer service and overall disappointing - no one should be staying in old rooms with slippery balcony tiles. Extremely dangerous for elderly travellers.

Flinders is a pretty town on the coast with enough shops and facilities to make it interesting. It is on the southern side of the peninsula, so the beaches aren't as gorgeous as those on the northern side - but not as crowded either. The coastline is more rugged and scenic. The whole peninsula is easily accessible from Flinders.
