I loved the rooms.
I loved the rooms. So spacious and to have a pullout bed, washing machine and dryer, full kitchen with dishwasher was amazing! Having access to public transport just outside was amazing and the price for our week long stay was right on point. Thank you!Guest review byRosealee - 10.0

The redeveloped port area and clever use of the railway facilities make this a delightful area to stay, and there are extensive attractions in the region. We ate at restaurants along the waterfront and shopped in the local area. All good.Guest review byJohnAustralia - 10.0
Low-key vibe to the area and town.
Low-key vibe to the area and town. Not at all built up, considering it is a popular destination. Loads of great restaurants, accommodation and shops to choose from. Recommend using Byron Bay kayaks for watching the whales and dolphins, a highlight of my trip! Went to Bang Bang restaurant (Asian sharing - good food but noisy) and the Treehouse (great food). We had a car and managed to visit neighbouring towns and beaches, which were also low-key with original buildings, so quaint.Guest review byDebbieNew Zealand - 6.0

We arrived at night in drkness so it was difficult to get a fix on location and most things were closed as it was winter. However, it was a lovely harbour and area during the daylight to walk and grab a coffee.Guest review byFionaUnited Arab Emirates - 10.0

A very big city.
A very big city. Beautiful lake Albert and we walked our litttle Sophie, she loved it. Is has the cheapest diesel in the Australia. Unbelievable cheap it’s even cheaper than Costco by 8cents. The pet friendly accommodation was great with very clean room and very comfy bed. We have to return and see more of the city.Guest review byTe HsiangAustralia - 6.0
It was just an overnight stop returning from Canberra.
It was just an overnight stop returning from Canberra. The city is relatively large and sprawling and difficult to navigate with compulsory turns etc. Signs pointing to "i" information were confusing, but after I gave up looking for it, I found that it was in the library and quite helpful for maps and brochures of things to do. For someone not familiar with the area, Wodonga (over the river) is much easier to navigate. In the evening I had dinner at the pizza restaurant (in the main street of Albury), but they also have pastas, mains, salads etc, and I was happy with my choice. The following morning I went to Gateway Island, on the Victorian side of the river, planning to do the 4-5 km Gateway Island trail, but actually ended up doing the Crossing Place Trail just over the road which was also 4-5 km with sculptures and information along the river bank.Guest review byHelenAustralia - 10.0
Jindabyne is a great base for a winter ski holiday.
Jindabyne is a great base for a winter ski holiday. Approximately 30 minutes drive to either Thredbo or Perisher. Plentiful accommodation, good cafes and restaurants, lots of ski hire shops, good buzzy atmosphere.Guest review byGarryAustralia
