- From $261.28 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 2,147 reviewsWhile not as bougie as the Hayman Island Resort, there is a lot to do at this resort. There are 2 restaurants on the island and the food options include an asian restaurant and a burger and pizza type of place. But vegetarian options available too and a small gift shop in the main lobby. But the key thing is the amazing activities to do on the resort (swimming with stingrays, live reef, sunset beach area behind with a rainforest pathway too to hike, sailing lessons that can be done from the island and scubadiving from island. The island has two sides, one for day trip and one for people staying. Big pools to swim in plus beach side. Great views. Easy to access port to go to reef or white haven tours as well as snorkeling tours or back to mainland to airlie beach or hamilton island. Walaroos are cute as anything on the island and you can feed them apples and bread and rice etc. like they are your pet dog. The cockatoos too. There was also paint and sip and other activities as well. Very family friendly. There is an underwater observatory room(an aquarium of sorts) and morning yoga in that room. there is also a kids section and other such aquariums throughout. It is beautiful paradiseGuest review byEktaUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 724 reviewsCook your own breakfast is a novel idea which wasn't clearly communicated and only on cracking a raw egg thinking it was boiled did I realise this was the case. It was a great experience to grill my own breakfast and enjoy the freshly baked bread after the rainforest hike neighbouring the venue. The spa bath and shower are great too.Guest review byGreg B.South Africa

Townsville is great to walk around & get the feeling of the city. I stayed in Townsville city and walked all the way to Pallarenda Beach 8 kms each way.. which was great. (There was a City Bus available - just as back up for me..) Cycling would be great - I plan to take my bicycle next time so I can discover even more.. is less time. Other Townsville highlights * The Marina * The Tobruk Swimming Pool * Jezzine Barracks was really to visit. * Castle Hill - Day & Night visit is worth it! * The Townsville Railway Station.Guest review bySaviour - 10.0

Stunning weather, stunning views, friendly staff everywhere we went, Except for the bar on the right at the roundabout as you drop down into the main shopping area. (bar staff were rude) Went on a Red Cat Adventure snorkling & visit to an Island with the most stunning beach I have ever seen. Pristine sand and clear blue water. Skipper Mark & Deck crew Jade & Kobi were fantastic we highly recommend them.Guest review byLorenNew Zealand - 8.0

We travel to Toowoomba each year for the annual Carnival of Flowers. Our hotel was easy walking distance to the gardens. Always a lovely experience to see the flowers in bloom, and our visits include Queen's Park, the Markets nearby and also Laurel Bank Park is a must for the tulips. We enjoyed lunch at Gips Restaurant, and a visit to the Historical Pioneer Park at Highfields The Miniature Train display is also a great visit for train lovers- at the ShowgroundsGuest review byVeronique - Gold CoastAustralia - 10.0
